Purchased from Niigata DHC Brewery
Purchased at DHC Sake Brewery when I went for a tasting 💰.
I was curious about Kameguchi Directly Tasted because I was not able to taste it!
I had always had an image of Kayama as sweet and delicious, so when you combine that with the fizziness, it's the best of both worlds!
I immediately opened the bottle 🍶It's delicious😊.
The sweet-umami taste, similar to pineapple, combined with the fizziness is just as I expected 😋.
Usually Kayama has an image of a subdued taste, but this one is very assertive 💪.
I thought it might be higher in alcohol content due to the fizzy taste and habit, but it is the same 17% as the regular Kayama? But the fizzy feeling also makes the drink go further 🍶.
Thank you very much!
Purchased from Niigata DHC Brewery
Buy direct from the brewery 💰.
I've had it at sake tasting but this is the first time I've bought it 🤔It's nice to meet you Kayama!
Opened the bottle right away 🍶This is delicious 😊.
Sweet umami, which is a minority for Niigata: ☺️
Koshino Umezato has a sweet balanced flavor image, but Kayama is a sweet speciality 🤔.
The sweetness is intense but not cloyingly sweet, it's a refreshing sweetness DHC sake brewery is known for this taste ☺️
It is high in alcohol content but has a nice aftertaste, so even though it is high in alcohol content, it is easy to drink 😋 Delicious!
I'm glad this is available in various places in Niigata 🙏.
It was the first time for me to know about the brewery, so this is the one that became the starting point for me 🍶.
Thank you very much for your hospitality!
The Koshino-Kanbai sake we were allowed to sample at the Ponshu-kan was also very tasty.
I was told that there was no successor and DHC has taken over the management of the company.
If I could take a tour of the brewery, I would like to visit.
I bought it because I had tasted it before in Niigata and enjoyed it.
The mouthfeel was quite sweet, even for a draft sake.
I felt it was sweeter than at that time.
If you want a refreshing drink, don't choose this one.
Purchased at Echigo Yuzawa Station Ponshu-kan. This is the sake I liked the most after tasting it. It has a strong aroma and flavor, but is mild. Slightly acidic. The rice that has been stored in the snow chamber makes it mellower!
First bottle on our trip to Niigata
Kita-ku, Niigata DHC Brewery Co.
Purchased at Pon Shukan when returning to Niigata.
There were 4 companies selling sake during the Obon festival.
The specialty sake of the day was Yoshinogawa...
I bought it with the sales pitch that it would be produced in a limited edition of 800 bottles.
It is an unfiltered unpasteurized sake, but it does not have much punch or sparkle.
It is a raw sake without filtration, but it has little punch or sparkle, but it is a very nice sake.
Well, it was a commemoration of the Bon Festival.
Clear and colorless, strong viscosity (alc17)
After pouring, the fruity aroma is striking.
After aging for more than a year, it has become smoother, rounder, and more elegant. The strength of the original sake is still present, and the acidity is well balanced with a mellow taste.
