Fruity aroma reminiscent of 🍎 and 🍍.
The sweetness is followed immediately by acidity and umami.
The sweetness is not too strong, but it is refreshing.
The acidity lingers through the aftertaste, giving it a refreshing impression in spite of its intensity of flavor.
It is just like a rice juice!
Personally, I think it could be the star of the show with just the sake itself, but...,
As the label says, it is a good sake for a meal.
I had it with sashimi, but I think it would go well with meat and other strong-flavored foods.
Kokuni-shu Fair 2025 Osaka (2)
Since all prefectures except Kagoshima and Okinawa are exhibiting at the Kokusyu Sake Fair, our strategy beforehand was to try to get sakes from prefectures we would not normally be able to drink 😀.
However, the first booth we visited was in Yamaguchi Prefecture, and the one facing us was in Nagano Prefecture 🤣.
When I saw Nagano sake, which I love, there was no way I could not visit 🤣.
However, since I was there, I decided to stop drinking the sake that I usually get, and went for a sake that I don't usually drink...or can't afford...and this Junmai Daiginjo from Masumi caught my eye 😀.
I usually can't afford a sake of this price 😅.
I felt a little bit of Yamahai-like nuance in the top nose, but the overall impression was of a clean, easy-drinking sake that went down smoothly😇.
I've only had Masumi sparkling nigori so far, so I had a good impression of my first clear sake😇.
I also enjoyed Comet and Shinshu Maihime, which I hadn't had yet😇.
The new Maihime in particular was described as dry, which is not the type of sake we would normally drink, but the first attack was a big thump, followed by a sweet fruity taste that we would fully enjoy at home 😇.
Hi Yasbaye 🐦.
This is fascinating 😻There's so much to choose from 😆I'd drink even from breweries I've had before if there was something I couldn't normally drink!
I'm looking forward to reading your report on the National Sake Fair 😊.
It has a slight sense of maturity and is easy to drink with a delicious yet refreshing taste.
The inside of the cup is also interesting, as you will see when you drink it.
White malted rice, No.7 yeast
Ripe 🍈 aroma
Moderate sweetness and firm acidity.
Clean aftertaste, with 🍈 remaining until the end.
Sake with Masumi's character.
