It was a nice morning drinking experience to drink some sake that I have never had before 😊.
It had a citrusy aroma. There was sweetness and then bitterness. It had a sharp aftertaste with sourness. It was delicious.
Two years ago, I used to drink this sake between beers because I liked its richness.
It has been a long time since I last drank Masumi, but today it was just a regular tasty sake. I wondered if the recent sake is no longer the traditional sake or if my taste buds have changed.
I bought this sake for drinking at the hotel just to try it out. This was a nice, coherent sake. It is elegant, has a good richness, and has a nice aroma. My partner and I both appreciated it very much. If I buy it again, I would like to bring it home in a 4-gou or 1-sho bottle.
