March 20, the middle day of the Spring equinox, we went to visit graves. We traveled from Sendai to Ishinomaki, then from Ishinomaki to Sendai via Kami, and finally to Sendai, a triangular 150km trip within the prefecture. On the way, we enjoy visiting a local sake shop and a ramen shop that we have frequented for more than 30 years. This is a familiar course that we always stop by on the far shore of the equinoxes and during the Bon festival. In the middle of the tour, we brought back a bottle of Kotobuki from the mountain. It does not have a lot of aroma, but as advertised, it has a clear, dry taste with a strong umami flavor. It is a good sake with a light acidity and bitterness, so you will not get tired of drinking it. Don't abuse it, it's just a sake word. 〜When it has umami, you can look forward to visiting graves! The Good Times series is a personal favorite. This one is also delicious. Not much aroma. Slightly tangy taste with a hint of sour strawberry. Slight bitterness in the aftertaste.

Whenever I see Good Times, I just have to order it 😅. I found it less sweet than the Winter Session 🤔. It had a pear aroma, just a little gassy and sharp, it was delicious 😊.

On Friday, I thought I'd sort out the liquor I'd accumulated since I'd finished a big job. Here is what I drank before. I've seen this Yamanokotobuki many times in Sake-no-wa. I've been watching your posts with sympathy, and now I'm finally posting this. The sourness that comes first and the bitterness that follows are pleasant, giving the impression of a grapefruit-like sake. I was thinking, "What's that? It's the one that makes you say "it's already gone" 😅.

To put it bluntly, it is a light version of Akirika's super-hot sake, except for the aroma. It is interesting because of its originality. It is a sake that I always like to have on hand. The second glass was a spring sake from Kurume's local brewery, Yamabusyu. It is not too sweet and has a light citrus flavor. 🙆‍♂️ The entrée was a pickled horse mackerel with a hint of spring, and it was delicious!

Reminder. Sorry for the continuous posting, here is another one with empty bottles as a reminder 😅. I was at the liquor store, looking around in front of the fridge for something to buy when my eyes fell on this one and I felt the urge to buy it 😊. I bought it right after the Snoqualmie, so I thought it would be the same, but I was pleasantly surprised by its sweet and sour taste, followed by a crisp and clean taste, and the fact that it has a cool side to it despite its cute appearance 😳 I was surprised to find out that it has a cool side to it despite its cute appearance 😳!
