ほとりThis is a one-year junmai ginjo made with local ginbukiyo, which the owner of the sake shop enjoyed so much that he ordered a new bottle. It was delicious, with good flavor and just the right amount of sweetness. Mochizuki Shuzo had not been registered as a brewery, so they registered today.

たくぼんGood evening, Mr. Lake Biwa 😃. I have never heard of Mochizuki Shuzo before 🍶. I see it is a brewery in Koga. It's delicious and you are ordering it again? I've never seen it at the liquor store I go to so I'm very curious 🤗.

ほとりTakubon-san, nice to meet you 😀. Mochizuki Sake Brewery is a small but well-known brewery that has been in business for over 200 years. If you see this sake anywhere, I would like you to try it. 🍶

つきたてNice to meet you! I love the label!

ほとりTsutsukitate-san, nice to meet you. Thank you😊I like this label too. It is a brewery in Koka that uses underground water from the Suzuka Mountains, and they named it Suzukabuto from this Suzuka and Kou.

nonkiShop/Mochizuki Sake Brewery Price/???? Yen Taste/Purchased on a business trip to Shiga Prefecture. When I went there around 6:00 p.m. on a weekday, there was no curtain and I had the feeling that the store was not open, but when I entered with trepidation and asked for "suimasen," the store staff came out and politely helped me buy the sake they recommended. The sake had a strong sweetness, but was easy to drink with a clean aftertaste. I'd like some acidity, but I like this one a lot! Sake is fun because even small, unknown breweries have good sake. I mean, isn't the label cute?

boukenPurchased at Kintetsu Department Store in Kusatsu. I was curious about this brand because Shinjo-san sometimes drinks it. Mochizuki Sake Brewery😅 which is not registered in Sakenawa. It's not written on the label, but it was written as Josen at the store. Reasonably priced, less than 1000 yen including tax. It tastes like a honjozo but with a gentle taste. Almost no sweetness, but not too spicy. It has a citrusy acidity. It has the same sensation as when you drink traditional sake made from 100 bales of rice. I wonder if you have to go to the brewery to buy the raw sake.

しんじょうGood morning, I'm sorry to hear about this. They don't sell them at all in Osaka, so I can only buy them by having them shipped to me. There used to be a place in Sakai where I could buy Kouga-no-sato from the same brewery, but my husband stopped buying it this year due to old age, so it's getting harder and harder.

boukenHello Shinjo-san😄 I see that the liquor store in Sakai has quit 😢. There is a liquor store in Hankyu Awaji that is strong in Shiga sake, so it would be nice if they would carry it...

しんじょうMochizuki Sake Brewery in Koka City, Shiga Prefecture is a small-scale brewery. Their Honjozo raw 3 years old sake and Hi-ire Junmai Genshu are great, but I tried the raw sake! It has a very sugary sweetness and a grainy richness. It cuts through quickly and quietly, so the taste is a bit unrefined (a compliment to me personally), but it's comfortable to drink. The label looks like it was printed on regular paper with an old home printer. I love this kind of label! Mr. Kazuhiko Ohta is a re-run of Shizuoka! Mr. Daijiro Oishi's brother owns this shop! The bonito looks delicious and I would love to go there!

遥瑛チチThank you Shinjo-san ❗️ Yes, I would like to visit this fish shop of Mr. Daijiro Oishi's family in Shizuoka 🤗 I'm sure the fish will be fresh and delicious❗️I'm sure there's a nationally famous sauna nearby too😁.

しんじょうEvery time ( -̀ω-́ )! Mr. Haruei Chichi He said he learned sauna from a blogger. I can't get enough of this place for old men! Drinking in a specialty fish shop near a fishing port is the best luxury! Add to that a visit to a historical site and Mt.
