Had sushi tonight, and asked for recommendation for nihonshu. Choose the 中 option. Has a taste not too sweet or dry, with good rice flavour and long finish, making you want to drink more. The flavour of the nigiri and nihonshu was better together. Haven’t had a nihonshu worth writing about in a while.

Today the manager told me there was a Tobiroki, so I jumped on it with joy 🤤. It's a dry sake with a full aroma and the delicious rice flavor typical of Aizu, and you will never get tired of drinking it.

The third glass is Yamanoi's Kurohoshi. This is another sake recommended by the manager. It has a gentle taste and goes down smoothly.

This sake is named after Char, the Red Comet, a good rival of Mobile Suit Gundam. Like Char's character, it is a thick, umazake-style sake, but it is a refreshing sake that quickly fades away.
