I walked to the Shinsei brewery in the morning, bought some souvenirs at Akita Station, and just as I was wondering where to spend my free time, I found a bar where I could drink Shinsei before noon! I was able to get my revenge for not being able to drink yesterday.
It is Shinsei Sansho (Earth).
It is fresh with a slight sourness. It is a taste I have never had before.
I had it with a cheese dip of pickled ginger and it was a perfect match 🍶.

This is the much talked about Shinsei brand that I impulsively drank when I wandered by and saw it on the menu. It has a fruity but dry taste. I guess this is what they mean by "light". Maybe it was my physical condition (a little stuffy nose), but I couldn't detect much aroma. It is certainly good.
