On a weekday off, I went to Ginza and Mitsukoshimae to buy sake.
On the way home, I stopped by "Yoshiike" in Okachimachi.
I had a set meal of fried raw oysters.
The oysters are from Senpohji in Kushiro, Hokkaido.
The sake was from Niigata Prefecture. Echino Kanmei.
Echigo's famous sake, light and dry on the royal road, not thin, but dignified.
Today we went to Hopeken in Sendagaya to watch the Rokugakusei baseball game and then to Ueno-Okachimachi for drinks.
One of my friends from school told me that he had never had Tochio's fried tofu, so I took him to Yoshike Shokudo and he liked it so much that he ordered another one with sakura shrimps.
Yukichuubai, with its sweet flavor and light outline, is still delicious 🙂.

There are a lot of sake, but this sake was served in front of Yoshiike Shokudo.
I had it cold.
It was delicious.
The second drink at Yoshiike Shokudo was Manotsuru, also from Sado Island, following Kintsuru.
Last night, I watched Kazuhiko Ota's program, which I had recorded in the past, while having dinner.

+It is a +15 dry sake, but it does not give the impression of being that hot, and has a good flavor.

I went to Yoshike in Ueno-okachimachi to buy ingredients and sake from Niigata.
Lunch at the Yoshike Restaurant on the top floor.
Sado's "Kanetsuru" Honjozo, which Sana D. posted just recently and I was curious about.
I had just had a one-cup of regular Kanetsuru and found it quite good as an evening drink, and Sana D highly praised the Honjozo, so now was the right time to drink it.
Pair it with yellowtail sashimi from Sado Island.
It comes in very lightly and quickly, and the mouthfeel is clear.
It is not thin, but has a nice combination of umami, spiciness, and sharp bitterness, making it a good evening sake👍.
Now I'm not drinking it for dinner, but for lunch 😅.
This is a very good sake.
I would like to try heated sake at home for dinner, and I would like to buy some from the sake department in the basement after lunch 😌.

Sado Island is also famous for its cold yellowtail.
Both Kanetsuru and Manotsuru sake are typical of Sado, and went well with the full-bodied yellowtail.

When in doubt, go to Yoshiike Shokudo on the 9th floor of Okachimachi Yoshiike.
They have a variety of dishes from set menus to sushi, a certain quality, and a lot of local sake from Niigata.
The atmosphere is relaxed, and the seats are spacious and comfortable.
As I mentioned a few times, Okachimachi Yoshiike is a hidden Niigata Prefecture antenna store. I've written about it several times.
The liquor and food sections are also full of Niigata color.
A dry nigori sake from "Koshi no Shirotori".
This is the same brewery that brews Yamama.
The founder of Yoshiike was born in Matsunoyama, Niigata Prefecture. The brewer of Koshi no Shirotori is a relative of Ango Sakaguchi, whose sister married in Matsunoyama and some of his works are set in Matsunoyama.
The sake has a punchy taste with an alcohol content of 20 degrees and a dry, crisp taste.
It also has a thick, dark taste that reminds me of the mountains.
It's not a bad way to start a daytime drink, with more drinkability and impact than expected😅.
I'm sure this nigorizake would be great warmed up as well👍.
