Best of the year so far. I have very little experience with Chiba sake (only Koshi), but I found a delicious sake at the recommendation of the staff at the restaurant. It has a nice sharpness and a hint of sweetness that I like. It also has a nice aroma.

When I returned to Yamaguchi for business, I found a sake shop in an old apartment complex near my parents' house in Yamaguchi that was holding a Gozenshu (sake) tasting. The owner had some Kinjaku on hand, which I gratefully purchased. My daughter, who was accompanying me, bought Gozenshu (Jungin) recommended by my brother-in-law. Gozenshu is delicious 😋 (I'll get the Kinjaku later.) We also bought a can of Bodaiyuan (oorigarami) and compared it with the Jungin. Both are good for eating.

Matsuyama City's Jakumasamusamune. Special Junmai. Delicious. One of the best I have had this year. The aroma is moderate, but the sweetness and sharpness are to my liking.

As usual, it is delicious. When I went back to my parents' house, there was a liquor store nearby that stocked wakamusume, so I bought a bottle of once-hot sake. Again, it was delicious. It has a subtle sweetness and a nice sharpness.

I got it as a gift from my son and his wife, but I didn't have a chance to drink it for about a month after that, so finally. It's been about 10 years since I had it, and I drank a lot of other sake during that time, but Isojiman is still delicious 😋.

I think it is a summer sake. Sake with good sharpness and acidity. It may be a memorable sake this summer.

I wanted to try this sake, and it seems my mother bought it for me at my parents' house. It is delicious. I think it is sweet but has a nice sharpness. Many sake breweries in Yamaguchi Prefecture are very active. Harada and Yamagata near my parents' house are also healthy. I'm looking forward to seeing them.

Sake on Sunday. Wakamusume is a small sake brewery in Tokuchi, Yamaguchi, made by a couple. They won an award for their sake (not this one, but a junmai daiginjo called Tsubame Daiginjo), beating out Ottersai and others in the prefecture. It is refreshing and delicious.
