Bought directly from the Mukho Sake Brewery... Aroma: Slightly cemedine? As the label on the back says, it's a solid and heavy sake. It is like a local sake, and the bitterness in the aftertaste is a bit of a problem, but...it soaks into your guts...it goes well with strong flavored snacks...smoked hoya and stewed tuna...I enjoy it with a little bit of it....

I received this as a souvenir from Chichibu. It is a brewer's alcohol-sweetened, long time "old-fashioned sake". I've been drinking a lot of junmai fruity sake lately, so this is a fresh new experience for me. I had it at room temperature, but it might be good warmed up as well 😅 When I realized ⁉️, the 300ml bottle was empty 😅. It's the kind of sake I'd like to drink at a local izakaya: ❣️ P.S. I noticed after uploading this that the label says to keep it refrigerated. It seems I made a mistake in how to store and how to drink it 😅 If you receive a gift, read the label carefully (lesson learned).

Buko-Masamune Special Junmai My wife's sister came to Osaka at the end of March. She gave me a bottle of Buko-Masamune as a gift. My sister-in-law's husband is from Chichibu. It's one cup and 4 bottles. Perfect for cherry blossom viewing👍‼️ Saturday we went to Ryokuchi Park🌸. Sushi 🍣 and Tempura 🍤 ready 😋. We drank one cup of special junmai and one bottle of sake I drank 🍶. It was a perfect accompaniment to the meal... Very tasty 🤤. Thank you, sister-in-law 👍‼️ The cherry blossoms were beautiful The tulips🌷 were beautiful too😌.
