After a series of nigoris, here is a change of pace 💁 The aroma is sweeter and more floral than expected. First up was the hiya (beer) 🍶It had a strong but not overpowering richness and sweetness. Next up is a hot sake♨️ The bitterness is still there, but the alcohol and spiciness increase. The aroma rises as the temperature drops. It is good from chilled to lukewarm 🤔It goes well with all of the dishes we had this time: Happosai, salmon roast, pumpkin stew, tofu, nuts, and pickles. 😄It makes you want to have other dishes as well. It's a classic food sake 😋.
