Since it is Tanabata, what do you call it? So I opened a bottle of Date Seven, a so-called "doburoku", which is a sake with the name "other brews". The aroma is sweet, koji-like, and slightly fruity. The top clear liquid is soft and sweet, with a hint of rice sweetness. I was surprised that doburoku, which is fire-brewed, has such a bubbly taste. Then there is koji, and a little sourness. When mixed, the aroma itself becomes subdued. When you drink it, it is smooth, but still has a nice shwashiness, and the mild sweetness of the rice and koji is present, with a subtle, gorgeous aroma that lingers in the nose. The texture is smooth and silky, and there are no grains to chew on, but when you bite into it, you can taste the rice and its umami. It is smooth and silky on the tongue, and although there are no grains to crush, you can taste the rice flavor and umami when you bite into it. The next day, the rice still tastes the same, but it is thicker and sweeter. The sweetness does not linger in the mouth. It has been hot recently, so it has been a while since I had a rich nigori, but I enjoyed it as an after-dinner drink.

How are you doing on the last day of June, the last day of the R5BY (brewing year)? The sake we received on such a day was peach doburoku. My wife bought it for me as a souvenir, and I was so happy to have it as the last of the R5BY. The color is a light pink with a thick texture. The aroma is like amazake with a gentle sourness. The first sip is thick and thick, yet smooth in texture. The sweetness of the natural unrefined sake is accompanied by a refreshing sourness derived from peaches. The taste is neither too rich nor too sweet, but has an interesting fruity sweet and sourness. The viscosity increases as the sip progresses, and it is almost chewable, with occasional loose lumps of unrefined sake. The sweetness is like a refreshing sweet sake, and the cute fruity acidity spreads freshly and overflows with sweet and sourness. There is also a thick fruit yogurt-like sensation, with a slight peachy sweetness nuance in the sweet and sour aftertaste. By the way, my wife seemed to prefer the plain one we had before😅. I hope to continue to study more, deepen my knowledge and experience of sake, and drink drunken sake in the R6BY that starts tomorrow 🍶. Have a drunken brewing year 😄!

Happy new brewing year, Mr. Matsuchiyo 😁. The number of breweries brewing in the four seasons has increased and the BY may be almost meaningless, but it's just a tradition! I wish you a happy new year 🍶.

Hi Aladdin 😀 The fact that the sake brewing year is decorated with doburoku is very innovative and Aladdin-san doesn't have a clue what it is 😇. I guess it's the power of your wife's gift 😀. I will be absent from Sake-no-wa for a while starting tomorrow, but I'll be back soon 🙇.

Pon, I hope you have a great R6BY 🙇. In the old days, 10/1 was the beginning of the brewing year and it might have coincided with the seasonality of sake brewing, but now with the modernization of equipment it might not matter 🤔. I would certainly like to hear from you directly 😊.

Thank you for coming! Off-line meeting of Kansai Sakewa In front of the restaurant, right after the meeting with Mr. ☆Gra After the group photo was taken, we were talking in front of the store, and Uma Uma Uma-san served us some Tokyo souvenirs 😆. Tokyo Station Sake Brewery Peach Doburoku! A very rich peach with a smooth taste. The peach flavor is so strong that it doesn't feel like doburoku at all 🤣. It was very tasty 🙏. Hasegawa Sake Brewery is brewing at Tokyo Station...they are doing a great thing with their brewery at echinakas (echinakas) 😳.

Extra Party with Mr. Gura After the first party was over and the commemorative photo had been taken, we had a chance to drink the sake that Yum- san got at Hasegawa Sake Shop when he went to Edo (Tokyo). Sorry for those who went home early 🙏. Fresh and tender 😋! Thick and fresh 😻 I hope there will be another sake brewery in Osaka station 🤗. I heard they can only make fresh sake because they can't use fire due to fire laws because it's inside the station.

Whenever I come to Tokyo, I just stop by. I had some time before check-in, so I had a light drink. This is a doburoku made at Tokyo Station. It has a strong rice flavor, but is easy to drink. It was a blink of an eye, but I wasn't too attracted to today's lineup and held out for just one cup.

Tsubu. Hello 🤩. I didn't know you were in Tokyo 🤩. I live in Yokohama, but I still get tired of the crowds in Tokyo😅. Hasegawa Sake Shop is pretty good, isn't it? They have many small bottles that are easy to drink on the way home 😁.

🍊 kino. when you bought this, did they ask you "do you need two cups?" I said "No, I only need one cup. I said "No, one is fine". You are so manly 😆. It's sweet and tasty 😋 slurpy juice. It was gone before we got to Omiya. More beer drinking after this 🍺. What I do for my online mahjong 🀄️ time. Bringing my own lunch to cut down on time spent going to the cafeteria. I'm going to bring a sandwich or a rice ball and something to eat while playing mahjong. I happened to finish early yesterday (after losing) and was reading a book. Then my boss at work in the next room came over and asked me if I was reading. I'm here to pick you up because my meeting time has been moved up. Good, I'm reading. But then, today, we had a seat change and my boss came to the seat next to me. Oh, it's only a matter of time before he finds out.... (Is there any option not to play mahjong during lunch break? Yeah, no 😆) I guess it's easier to get found out quickly 😅.

Mahjong club camp 🀄. To Tokyo to play Mahjong! Three crazy Han guys departed from Nagoya station 🚄. The result was +31 on the first day and -30 on the second day, It's as if we didn't do it 🤣. I played mahjong and drank for 2 days on Friday and Saturday, On Sunday, I went to a liquor store in Tokyo by myself ✨ I bought 18 bottles including the ones I sent to other people 😇I'm an idiot 🤪. I bought a bottle of mikan doburoku 🍊 at Tokyo station before taking the shinkansen back home. The beer was empty by the time I got to Shinagawa and the doburoku was so easy to drink that it was empty by the time I got to Shizuoka Prefecture 🍊. And I slept like a baby because of all the walking 😪. The only pictures I took were a weird guy playing with flower buds at a drinking party and ramen noodles 🍜. Check out everyone else's reviews to see how much fun we had 🤣. Thanks everyone 🙇‍♂️

Jointly brewed doburoku by Hasegawa Sake Shop and Sengoku. The crushed rice grains give it a porridge-like texture! The sweetness is gentle and quite refreshing. The aftertaste may be dry. I like to pair it with Hasegawa's meatballs and omelet. Personally, I think this combination is the perfect taste.

Sorry for the duplication of photos from the last post. I digress from Sake to introduce Doburoku💦. Doburoku is made at a sake brewery in Tokyo Station. It tastes like a smoothie with a sweet yogurt grape flavor and is very easy to drink! I tried to buy it at Hasegawa Sake Shop but they were sold out😭 Normal Doburoku was available for sale if you are interested! 4.4/5
