Sasaki Sake Brewery is the family home of actor Kuranosuke Sasaki. I went to the brewery myself, and this was a summer gift. It has a clean, refreshing taste and a gorgeous aroma. With new salmon roe. Rice polishing ratio 40%, alcohol 16%, sake degree +2.5 (dry).
After running some errands in the next town, I went to a liquor store 🍶.
I knew it existed, but this was my first encounter with it ❗I had mistakenly remembered it as "Garakudai" back in the day 😅.
Sasaki Shuzo in Kyoto is the brewer of Sasaki Kuranosuke's family's "Ancient Capital" 🤔.
I thought it was a different brand ‼️
It's a very refreshing sake, but also has a strong sake taste! I've been wanting to eat seafood and yakitori as an entrée, so it's also good for during a meal ✨.
Good morning, Noodle Shochu King 😃.
You're right, it does look like Masayo's kanji 😄.
Juraku reminds me of a commercial for a hotel that used to be in the Izu area 😌.
Hi Menzhuoh, 🐦 I've only ever had this brand.
I've only had this brand of sake 💦 maybe it's named after the brewery right next to Nijo castle 😊I'd like to try the old capital next time 😁.
Good evening, Jay & Nobby 😃.
I guess we looked alike because of the character "Raku" in the middle of our names 😅Izu, I would love to go there once to see the sights 😃.
Hi Pon, good evening 😃.
I regret that in the past the old capital was sold in the same store but then I couldn't see it and went through it 😭 I haven't had it yet either 😖.
Drinking with my former colleagues, we were able to drink about 5 different kinds of drinks. I was satisfied with the explanations and the attentive service.

This is Jyugakudai Junmai-shu Cold Shibori. It is a delicious sake with lots of flavor and a nice sharp taste. I was able to buy it at a discount price at a supermarket.
We enjoy Kuranosuke-san's family's sake on a riverbed in Kyoto.
I was a little prepared for this one because I did not like the previous one from Sasaki Shuzo, but this one is easy to drink and I never get tired of it.
I had it with a small pot of pork.
