Sasaki Shuzo Junmai Ginjo Kyo-Seikyu 720ml Alcohol percentage: 15 Rice polishing ratio: 60 We received this sake as a gift from Kyoto last year. Cold days continue. We first had it cold. The rest of the time it was served lukewarm. It is said to have a mild flavor, but it is a traditional flavor. I like it lukewarm to slightly cooled.

I neglected to record this for a while. Sasaki Sake Brewery was at the sales floor and I tasted and bought a bottle in search of a sake that would go well with sukiyaki and pork kakuni. It has a peculiar taste, but it goes well with winter stew! It would also be good hot.

The famous Sasaki Sake Brewery is owned by Kuranosuke Sasaki's family. Since it is located in Kyoto, I thought it would be delicate yet aromatic, but was surprised to find it to be quite strong! It was delicious. Also, the aroma was a bit more distinctive than that of a wine glass, so a cup of sake was the perfect choice 🍶.
