We all received this as a souvenir from a trip to Nakatsugawa at a home drinking party for two days in a row!
Polishing ratio 50%.
It is said to be a sake like wine! I'm looking forward to it!
The smell was... not much, but it smelled slightly crisp and dry.
When you drink it, you will notice a slight umami flavor and quite a bit of acidity!
When paired with cheese, this acidity disappears and it's like a swishy drink!
It was very tasty!
Alcohol content 15%.
Ingredients: 100% Koshitanrei
Polishing ratio 50%.
At Echigo Yuzawa Station Ponshu-kan. This sake has a ripe sweetness, lightness, and acidity. It can be drunk in gulps.
Purchased at my favorite Sagajo Shoten: ‼️
I thought it might be a wine type wine because it "goes well with cheese and meat" 🍷.
It has a subtle sweetness, a clean flavor, and a nice sharpness 😋 It has a wine-like quality, but it still has a sake-like quality ❗I guess it's a good example of Niigata's beautifully light and dry taste 🎵.
I paired it with cheetara and yakitori and it was perfect 😉.
It's perfect with cheetara and yakitori 🆗 even with very fatty food ❗
If you finally made 1200 attempts, doesn't that mean you weren't satisfied with the 888th attempt? And then they just commercialized it? I have a hard time believing that.
Hi Manachy 😃
First of all, it's amazing that the brewery is able to brew that many sake with so much thought and care! Hats off to you for continuing to brew and test brew to make good sake 😌It's a brave decision to sell this sake for the 888th time without fear of failure 😉.
