Toichi Junmai Ginjo Yamadanishiki
From cold.
The spiciness follows immediately after the moderate sweetness, and it goes straight to the finish.
As the temperature rises, the umami and spiciness increase dramatically.
Excellent as a food sake.
Tonight we had senmaizuke (pickled radish) and ginger yaki (grilled ginger). Thank you for the delicious meal.
It's been years since I've had a Toichi 🍶.
It's a classic rice sweet and tasty at the beginning of drinking, but then the sweet and sour taste like yogurt ⁉️ starts to seep in 🤔.
It is a gentle classic in general 🤔.
I personally really liked it with appetizers and light fish 😊.
Melon-like fruity taste.
Lingering aftertaste that is stronger than the initial one, and the alcohol seems to be draining away.
Taste similar to white wine.
5th day after opening the bottle
The alcohol feeling is gone and it has become mellow and easy to drink.
Today's dish
Dashimaki Tamago✨
The first sake of the new year is Toichi 🍶✨At the first sake shop we went to at the end of the year, we were recommended this light nigori sake. It's very tasty 😭✨.
It's so delicious 😭✨I'm sorry I can't give you a detailed report like everyone else 😭.
If it's just a matter of whether I like it or not, I like it a lot 🥺✨.
Good morning, HINANOHA 😃.
That's a nice picture that could be titled "Toichi for dashimaki tamago" 🤗.
The liquor store's recommendation is a definite one 😋.
Sake decided by name (2)
To be used for the celebration of Kiju (77th birthday).
In contrast to Manrei, it is a little mellow.
However, both Manrei and Toichi are refreshing.
So, both are suitable for Osechi!
They are delicious!
It was a year-end party for the class. All-you-can-eat yakiniku is no longer for me. I went home and sipped sake.
Toichi, which I used to drink a lot when I first started getting into sake.
I still love it, but I don't often have a chance to buy it, and the price is a bit expensive.
The taste is like eating ripe papaya with lime on top, with a straight sweetness, followed by a pleasant bitterness. It's good. Most notably, it has a very fine but powerful tingling sensation. I want to keep it on my tongue forever. The basic taste remains unchanged, although the mellowness increases when mixed with the oli.
I liked the old label better. The Junmai is blue on the new label, but I think the Junmai Ginjo is more suited to the blue color.
Masaaki Sapporo, thank you for your comment! The sunset was taken at the nearest station, before going to a year-end party. I now understand how you feel about taking pictures of the sunset. I hope you have a happy new year!
