This Sake has a nice medium mouth feel and acidity to give a clean finish. The flavor reminds me of dried apricot with the sweetness of pear. The flavors feel rich and colorful.

A little drink in Utsunomiya🐾 with Shinshin SY, J&N and Kotori Part 3 We still had a little time before meeting up with J&N, so we decided to take the LRT to a sake store near the station while enjoying the changing scenery of the city. The design is stylish with Oyaishi, a specialty of Utsunomiya, decorating some of the stops and the interior of the train 😃. I was informed that Mr. J&N had started to drink 🍶 in the station, so I went back to the station to join him. We returned to the station and met up with J&N ❕ for the first time 🥹🤝. Shinshin-san and I ordered the omakase jizake (local sake) 3 types for comparison... Souhyo! It had an aroma slightly reminiscent of apples, with a full-bodied, acidic spread and a clean, medium to slightly dry aftertaste 😚.

6/10 Special junmai made from 60% polished Yumesasara, Tochigi Prefecture's preferred rice for sake brewing. The taste is quite light. It is a sake brewer's yeast yeast yeast, but the acidity is also suppressed. It seemed to be a new sake, once-fired type, so there was a sense of freshness. It tasted hard and dry.

I wanted to tag the location first. Before going to the after-party, we passed by Utsunomiya station and took the new mode of transportation, LRT, to a liquor store! There were so many delicious Tochigi sake to choose from that it was hard to keep my eyes open 🤭. We boarded the LRT again and headed back to Utsunomiya station to meet up with our friends who were waiting for us. I greeted the two people who had been waiting for me. They welcomed us warmly! Let's have a drink together! I don't know what we're going to drink, but we're going to compare three kinds of Tochigi sake! The Souhyo we had heard so much about came out! The start is full of apple🍎 feeling! It seems to be similar to Tasake We greeted everyone and chatted while enjoying our drinks 😊. Utsunomiya, who thought it was going to be a one-person drinking session, thanks to the three of us who gathered together 🥲. a great deal of information about Utsunomiya Raw material rice: Yamada-Nishiki from District A Polishing ratio/60 Sake degree/+4 Alcohol content/15

Junmai🍶 Water Lily🪷 Koji rice: Special A district Yamada Nishiki🌾. Sourness, cream soda 🍈A little bit of seme smell can be felt, but it is not unpleasant. Bitterness is also moderate. It is not the standard Junmai Daiginjo that you would expect. The shuzo has placed this wine for aging since summer, making the ingredients smell and taste become stronger. It comes with more of raw and cooked rice on nose, and slight umami. Texture is richer than the standard ones you expect from this kind of sake rice. Interesting sake to drink in Autumn!
