When I drank Junmai-shu, the aroma was amazing but I did not feel any sweetness, which was strange. This time, the aroma and taste were fruity and delicious.
It starts with a mild melon aroma, followed by moderate sweetness and acidity with a slight bitterness. The balance is excellent and there is no lingering aftertaste. Overall, it was a dignified and beautifully finished, yet delicious saké with a strong, original flavor of rice👍.
This is also a local bar. They have a summer version of Neputa. I begged for it and it came out from the back lol. It tastes so complex (as usual, my vocabulary is not enough), but it is delicious!
