On my way back from Nagano, I stopped by Sasaichi Sake Brewery and bought some.
It has a delicious rice flavor and sweetness with a bit of minerality. It's not too strong and it's just plain easy to drink.
Sake rice→100% Yamanashi rice
Rice polishing ratio→65
Alcohol content→15%.
We had it at Houtoukura Ayusei😋 It was a well-balanced, easy-drinking sake that was not too assertive as a food sake.
Label: 🏷️
It's a mini bottle so it's on display 😍.
Where to buy it: Houtoukura Hosei Kawaguchiko Store
Limited edition sake purchased locally during a visit to a sake brewery.
I bought this one because I prefer Yamahai.
The mouthfeel and aroma are not as distinctive of Yamahai as I had expected, but it is an elegant sake with a deep flavor.
My favorite ★★★★
We planned to go from Miyagase to Yabitsu Pass, but the road was closed due to a marathon or something, so we hurried to Hossawa Falls, which we missed last week. We returned home before it started to rain, and had lunch with some of the sasai we had bought last week, along with snacks from Michi no Eki Hachioji-Takiyama.
To recap my GW memories, I drank this one that I bought on my trip to Yamanashi last week.
It was delicious, with an elegant sweetness and a refreshing aftertaste.
