Nakasendo Walking Day 3
This day was 20.4 km from Kiso Hirasawa Station to Shiojiri Inn👣.
It was also the day of the final game of the Japan Series!
We bought alcohol and snacks at the supermarket and cheered ⚾🐯📣 at our accommodation.
I was moved by the moment of that thing 🐯🏆🎉.
100% Miyamanishiki from Nagano Prefecture
Polishing ratio 49
Alcohol 13%.
Fruity and soft sweetness.
After that, it has a delicious umami taste and a clean aftertaste!
It was gone in no time due to the low alcohol content 💦.
Also open a bottle of Alps wine 😁.
It was a long day of walking. There were some happenings along the way, such as a lost road, but we arrived at Shiojiri, the wine town, on schedule 🍇.
Erin, good evening 🌙
I love the name "Alps" 😆 I'm from the Heidi generation 🤭.
Yeah, it was delicious, fruity and refreshing like Shinshu 💕The label is cute, but I was surprised it's Jun Daigin 😳‼️
Good morning Pon-chan 😃
Alps Masamune was awarded the top prize in the Junmai Ginjo sake category at the Kanto Shinetsu sake competition 😳I've never had it and would like to try it 🤣.
Hi Rafa!
I rarely see this brand so I had to try it 😊It was an award winning brewery 😳It must be delicious 😆.
By the way, the level of Shinshu sake is really high 👍✨.
Hello, Yasube!
I wanted to go out for a drink, but it's been 38 years 💦I was cheering in my room, thinking that if I missed it, I wouldn't be able to see it until I die 😆.
One-man tavern.
And a black history of drinking too much and getting crushed...
If you drink from one end of the recommended list... well, it's a natural consequence...
I apologize for the inconvenience.
Purchased at a sake brewery in Matsumoto.
It is made from 100% Miyamanishiki, a specially cultivated rice produced in Azumino, Shinshu.
As one would expect from a medium-bodied sake, it has a rich taste with the full flavor of the rice. The aroma and sharpness are moderate, and the sense of drinking is strong.
It is a wonderful mid-meal sake that asserts itself in a good sense with any accompaniment, but does not fight with the accompaniment.

This is the second restaurant after the first, Daisetsukkei Hiyoroshi, Furozumi, Mizubasho, Etsu Kaisen, and Kuroryu.
Aizu Otokoyama, Kiso no Kakehashi, and Alps Masamune. Rarely seen in Matsumoto, but delicious.
Sake I won by buying 2 bottles of Shinshu Kamerei.
I didn't know this was possible...
The aroma is rather strong, but it is not fruity, but rather a full aroma with a hint of rice sweetness.
The taste is slightly sweet with the same rice-based sweetness as the aroma.
The acidity is relatively low and the taste is mild.
The taste is clean and full without any cloying taste.
Simply delicious!
A good sake with a good balance of daiginjo-ness and drinkability.
The second outdoor photo session was
Found near Kappa Bridge in Kamikochi
Alps Masamune Kamikochi
Junmai-shu (pure rice sake) stored in a windhole with a 70% polished rice ratio
A snap alongside Azumino Hotaka Beer🍺.
Easy to drink with a light acidity.
A short walk along the river in the center of Kamikochi around Taisho Pond and Myojin Pond.
I thought I would take a short walk around Myojin Pond and Taisho Pond along the river in the center of Kamikochi.
It was pretty tough😅But I'm glad the weather held out.
But I'm glad the weather turned out to be fine 😄.

Good evening Harry 🌆.
I see you are visiting Kamikochi 😃.
On Sunday I was driving through the Hirayu tunnel and near Matsumoto 😆.
We might have passed each other somewhere 😅.
Alps Masamune, it's a sake from Matsumoto 🍶.
Good evening 😃
I see you went to Kamikochi too ☺️ the greenery of the Hotaka mountain range is beautiful✨Myojin Pond is surprisingly far away 😆.
Did you try the grilled rockfish with salt at Kamonji Hut?
Hotaka beer, I love it too. Alto is delicious too👍.
@Mizuhashi, I thought it would be crowded in summer, so I continued from Senjidashiki Curl this time. I knew there were quite a few people there 😅 I knew there would be touristy sake 🍶!
Mr. Sieg, yes, sorry, Matsumoto was just a pass by 😅 Yes, Myojin Pond was surprisingly far and tiring 😅 I had to stop because iwana cost 1200 yen, but I would like to drink iwana sake or something, preferably on a flatland 😅.
Hello, Harry senior 😃.
I see you went to a summer resort that is perfect for this time of the year: ❗️
I'm looking forward to going there too!
I hope you don't have to do 10,000 feet of alpine climbing on top of a small spear 😆.
Good evening, Mr. Chichi 🌇.
Yes, I went there to avoid summer vacation and weekends,
But I'm out of serious mountain climbing, I went just for the atmosphere 😅.
When I visited Kametaya Sake Brewery, I happened to run into them at one of their regularly scheduled direct bottling events and bought this sake.
I found it interesting that the sake I tasted on the spot was different from the one I tasted at home a while later.
When I tasted the sake straight from the bottle, it was fresh and crisp! When I drank it at home, the freshness was reduced and the umami was more pronounced.
Third and last drink. This is also my first Alps Masamune since I went to Nagano last week. This one is dry from the moment you put your mouth on it. It has a dignified taste that rises crisply like the Alps.
I was able to meet him then.
Drinking sake while drunk makes everything unimportant again tonight.
The second Kirakucho, which I drank before.
Yes, it's been a little while since I opened it, and the alcohol content remains a little strong. I thought it was a bit sweeter than the last time I drank it a few weeks ago, when it was freshly opened. Comparisons, yes, the ravings of an uncle who can't listen to people.
Itkey. What is it, a sour sweetness that makes you scrunch your face. I wonder if this one wasn't too hand, or if it tastes a little more interesting than the good impression I had last time.
Well, old man, I wish I could compare, deny, or just be thankful that I could drink sake today, but I have a word or two to say, and I'm all over the place.
Now, the title, Alps Masamune. Sake in the image. It is easy to drink with a good balance of sweetness, acidity, and the rest.
I am thankful for the sake that I can drink today.
Purchased at a sake brewery in Matsumoto.
This is the first time I have tasted sake made from Yamae-Nishiki sake rice, and it is also my favorite.
It has a strong fruity aroma and a pleasantly lingering aftertaste of umami and acidity.
Personally, I would rather savor this sake without snacks than with them.
