Is this a new brand? I was curious about the specs of using 100% special pure polished Yuyamanishiki, which is why I loosened my purse strings 😅.
From the nose, it has the freshness of grapes and a rustic impression of smoked grains. The taste has almost no gas and the impact of sweet and sour like when you eat a grape is just as delicious 🎯😋🐴.
There is a decent amount of bitterness in the aftertaste, which is also nice 🤩.
Oh, I'm tempted to try the Sunokure Yamadanishiki and some of the others in this season's lineup again 😊.

Kouei Kiku's first year-round product!
A light touch of rice flavor and sweetness spreads from the palate.
The acidity is mild for a Kouei Kiku, and I personally feel that it is quite light in flavor along with Bikun.
I hear that the sake rice used changes depending on the time of year, so I am looking forward to the future!

I went to Fukurokuju, my home brewery.
The manager asked me if I had left some Sukai Seikai Special Junmai Unfiltered Nama Sake. Did you drink it?
I had been curious about it since I saw it on SNS, but it was hard to find it in any stores.

The manager said it was the kind of sake that makes you feel at ease when you drink it at the end of a night of drinking various kinds of sake.
I had it right off the bat!
Relatively robust for a Koueikiku!
But I can understand the manager's point somehow.

I thought Kouei Kiku didn't call itself Junmai, Toku Junmai, or Jungin, but this time it was called Tokusen Junmai (special junmai).
So I'm convinced it had a solid taste!
I am looking forward to another Kouei Kiku!

Taste is surprisingly clean, sweet and sour! Unlike the aroma, it is light and easy to drink! (Is the acidity typical of Koeikiku still present? ) 😌

The name "Seikai" comes from the idea of brewing sake with a fresh and clean image like the sea of clouds in the sky.
A newly created standard sake! You have to drink it 😘.
The smell after opening the bottle is citrusy.
On the palate it's grape? 🤔The acidity makes it fresh like Delaware and the fresh sweet aroma fills your mouth!
From the fresh sweetness in the mouth, the taste suddenly changes from the initial sourness to astringency? Pungency? It disappears with a moderate lingering taste 😘.
It feels light at first, but no, no! I think it is quite a modern taste 😘.
