I've wanted to drink Tsukihaku since last year.
I've been trying to get a bottle but it's always gone, so I finally got it!
The pale blue label with the moon symbol is also nice!
The taste is a little tangy and dry with just the right amount of zing.
It has a sharp aftertaste, and although it's not sweet, it's easy to drink!
I like sweet sake, so I guess it's more of a food sake, but it was a pleasant enough sake that I could drink it by itself.
Unfortunately, there was not much flavor, the aroma was not strong, and it did not have the crispness of wine... It was a bit like not knowing what to drink.
I had an image of packaged sake as an aromatic, fruity, sweet-tasting sake, but this Tsukihaku is considerably less sweet.
The aroma is also mild, but it has a nice aroma that is typical of packaged sake.
It has a clean, light flavor that goes well with meals.
3.5 / 5.0
I opened a bottle of the bottle that I had stored in the refrigerator at my parents' house a while ago on the same day. Hwang Suisen is one of my favorite brands, with a distinctive taste, and even though it is 13% alcohol, it is not too much. It is one of my favorite brands and can be easily served with meals. It is made from 20% Yamada-Nishiki (80% suitable rice for sake brewing) and 50% polished rice.
Good morning, ma-ki-.
Yes, I tend to buy yellow daffodils when I find them. I just peeked into Hasegawa Sake Shop at Tokyo Station and saw Beni-Kikyo on the shelf.
Today we will have the moon white of the packaged sake 🍶.
This is the first time for me to try this one.
The aroma is fresh, sharp and spicy. It also has a sense of alcohol.
When you sip it, you feel the crackling gas, umami, and sharpness. It is a little different from the usual sweet, umami, and acidic style of Kafuda sake. I would like to drink it with white fish such as sea bream sashimi. It is delicious with simmered dishes in light broth. ☺️✨
Aroma is moderate.
Sourness and sweetness are slight. Slightly acidic and sweet.
The degree of sweetness and spiciness is about the middle of the range.
Carbonation immediately after opening.
Water...
Although it is 13% alcohol, it does not feel thin and flat at all. The slight carbonation is moderately refreshing and expansive, but I finished the bottle without being able to grasp the characteristics of this junmai daiginjo!
