I received a bottle of Kawatsuru Olive, Akkusei Nigori Nama Sake.
It is a winter sake produced in December of last year, but I was lucky enough to find it in July, in the middle of summer, at my favorite liquor store's "Rasuiichi" section.
It is characterized by a strong effervescence that takes several minutes to open, and when poured into a glass, it bubbles like a carbonated beverage. When you drink it, it has a soft mouthfeel that is typical of Tosunigori, and the fine microbubbles are pleasant.
Perhaps it is because it has been produced for a long time, but it has a stronger sweetness than the ones we have had before. There is no bitterness, spiciness, astringency, or any other elements that can sometimes be perceived as negative, and it is straightforwardly sweet, tart, and easy to drink. It reminds me of carbonated lactic acid beverages such as Skoal and Ambasa.
The low alcohol content of 9 degrees Celsius makes it easy to drink, which is another thing that sets it apart from regular sake.
As I mentioned when I drank it before, if you are not looking for sake-like characteristics, it is hard to think of another alcoholic beverage that tastes as good as this.
It is a sake that is hard to find, so I would be happy if I could come across it again this winter.
When you put it in your mouth, the full sweetness spreads. It also has a refreshingly moderate acidity. Sake with no corners and roundness. It has a rounded feel with no corners. It has a freshness and freshness like the label. Pair it with cream cheese. Light.
Liqueur
Ibukijima Island, off the coast of Kagawa Prefecture's Kannonji City, where the brewery is located, is famous for its iriko (dried sardines), which are roasted and marinated in kawazuru (a type of sake). The iriko is roasted and marinated in Kawatsuru sake. The iriko is served as a garnish and can be eaten as is or added to the sake.
If it is roasted again, the aroma will be more intense. The richness and flavor of the sake explodes when it is heated in a microwave oven.
This is the 622nd one-cup, one-pack festival.
It's funny, I didn't remember the attack being "spicy" today, even though the contents are probably the same as the last one with the Daruma label. Today, I have the impression that it is a sweet sake. The top aroma is also cemedine and kabosu.
This is the 621st bottle of the One Cup One Pack Festival.
It is said that the name comes from the dream of the first brewer that a crane landed on the Zaita River, which runs just north of the brewery.
It's so spicy! That's what I thought at first, but as I drank more, I was surprised to find that it was not as spicy as I had expected, and the sweetness started to come through. A slight sourness can be felt when it passes through the tongue and after swallowing. There is a slight aroma of cemidine and a hint of ground tobacco.
This is the 620th one-cup, one-pack festival.

We had this Tanonota Junmai Nama Nama sake at Fukurokuju last year!
Tonight there is only a little bit of it left!
The last comment was that it had a pineapple flavor.
I couldn't get that image this time because there was so little of it!
Looking forward to the next time!
Yodarechicken is also delicious!
