The brewer, who was standing next to Wakakoma, asked us to have some of his sake as well.
Polishing ratio 65%, Tochigi no Hoshi 15%, Sake degree +2, Acidity 1.3, 1540 yen
I thought the impression was the same as in the past.
The fire-brewed sake I had in the past felt strange, but this time I didn't feel anything special and enjoyed it.
Maybe it was because I drank mainly minor breweries, but the last two I drank, Wakakoma and Shikizakura, were very different and tasty.
The last one that left a strong impression on me was the Juichi-Masamune 🤔.
I've already had the brands themselves, so I passed on them, but I was also interested in the Junmai Daiginjo from Nanamizu and Tsuji Zenbei.
Yesterday, I was in Tochigi, Japan for a trip to Kinugawa & Utsunomiya ✨.
I came to Tochigi again this year!
From the Spacia to Kinugawa Onsen, Nikko Maitake mushrooms, Utsunomiya Gyoza.... We have been enjoying our trip every year 👍.
And this time, we had "Kibuna" with gyoza again. It has a good sweetness and richness with a touch of sugarcane, and a refreshing dry sharpness. It was an excellent combination that synchronized and reset the flavor of the gyoza!
It was a bit of a downpour, but it was also fun to enjoy the hot spring while listening to the sound of the rain. We are also looking forward to the souvenir sake we got..!
