About Shikizakura
The brewery is Utsunomiya Sake Brewing Company, founded in 1871. Shikizakura Manyo Sei (Daiginjo), a pioneering brand of Tochigi's local sake, won a gold medal at the International Wine Challenge, and has also won a gold medal at the National New Sake Competition for six years in a row. Shikizakura Kaho" was also introduced in the gourmet manga "Mijishinbo.
The soft Kinugawa River subsoil water is used as the brewing water, and the softness and smoothness in the mouth are enjoyed while drinking.
