Very refreshing to drink. When you smell the aroma, you can smell the gorgeous aroma without getting close to it. This sake is crisp and dry, yet has a gorgeous flavor.
On the way back from watching the Gion Festival Yamaboko Junko
Purchased at a sake store in Fushimi
It is a summer sake.
It has a gaseous yet calm mouthfeel.
Elegant smoothness typical of Joyo.
Moderate sweetness and crisp, fresh acidity.
The taste is satisfying and refreshing at the same time.
Perfect for the current season!
Yamaboko procession
I went to Yoiyama last year.
I arrived in Kyoto early in the morning to see the Yamaboko procession in action.
I arrived before 7:00 a.m., but there were already people around the Nagatohoko floats and around the Tsuji-mawashi street in Kawaramachi.
I was able to get a good vantage point,
It was like a "moving museum!
The swaying brocade and musical accompaniment were mystical.
I once again felt the majesty of the ancient capital.
In summer, aji sashimi and cold tomatoes.
I will be serving Joyo, a locally brewed sake from Yamashiro, Kyoto.
This brand is sometimes seen at liquor stores in Osaka and Kyoto. It has the image of a sake for drinkers who are faithful to the basics and have a strong core.
Unusually for such a Joyo, I thought it was a good summer sake with a fizzy and light taste until about the third day after opening.
After a week, the taste became a quiet delight for connoisseurs and sake drinkers.
It is hot even though the rainy season has not yet ended.
