Fruity aroma and taste like pear, delicious!
Compared to the Kamikamegen we drank together, it has a longer lasting umami, with a berry-like acidity.
It was also delicious lukewarm.
May 30, 2025, at the 4th Annual Bishu-Ken Yamagata 🍶.
As an omatist, this is one I'd like to drink 😉.
Good balance of robust and crisp ✨.
It's actually quite a luxury to be able to get a limited edition sake for an event 🥰.
The fourth photo is a questionnaire on how to taste test brewed sake at the Yamagata Industrial Technology Center booth 📝.
It was an interesting experiment in which participants tasted sake with unknown specifications and voted for the side they felt was sweetest or hottest, or darkest or thinnest.
If you think about it, this is a smart way to survey thousands of drinkers' impressions in an efficient way 😌.
I'm sure the results will change the appeal points and the way to market the product...
Of course, it's a win-win for the drinkers as they can have another drink at no cost (lol).
Christmas Party
(but 12/22)
(Hand-rolled sushi)
Purchased for a Christmas party (but 12/22) (hand-rolled sushi). It is a light but strong sake.
It doesn't go well with sushi, but that's the way it is.

An assemblage of sake brewed at the same brewery. A blend of several types of Tokutei Meisho sake including Daiginjo. Enjoyed once a year.
Fruity, easy to drink and delicious.
Jokigen era (1275.4.25-1278.2.29)
We had it with a hot sake recommendation.
The label is also good as it indicates it is suitable for hot sake.
It is said that the name of the sake was given with the wish that it "be the source of fine (top) quality pleasure." It's a good sake.
The brewery's roots date back to 1946. At that time, it was called "Otokoyama", "Yoro", and "Yoro",
The brewery was founded in 1946 when five breweries, Otokoyama, Yoro, Fujiya, Senrii, and Tamanokawa, merged to form a new brewery, the current Sakata Sake Brewery.
