GW Sake Brewery Tour - Kurume, Fukuoka
Last year, Fukuoka restaurants united in a project to support local sake! Stand by SAKE"! One of the Fukuoka Sake that I was fascinated by at the event was a sake called "Stand by SAKE"!
The Omachi we were looking for is a mellow, umami, spicy sake with a nice aroma and sharpness, a classic food sake that is perfect for Hakata's gastronomy☺️.
Unfortunately, it is not yet available in this season's hanpukai, so I bought a slightly sweeter moko2.

Sweet and bitter - voluptuous and delicious aroma of omachi🤩.
It's fun to pour a full mug of this sake and enjoy the gradual change in temperature ✨.
As the brewer told me, it's sweet but also has a bitter acidity that is well balanced and great! Delicious with food or on its own ☺️.
I didn't realize that the local people are the main consumers 👀The brewery is loved by the locals💞.
On the way home, we stopped by a friend's house in the neighboring town of Ukiha.

I visited Wakatakeya maybe 4 years ago. I visited the winery, the shochu brewery, and the Wakatake brewery at the same time, but I don't think they had such stylish bottles at that time.
I would like to visit there because the torii gate is also nice 👍️.
