After a business meeting in Jimbocho, I discovered a liquor store from a solitary, gourmet-like stroll and this was the first thing that caught my eye as I wandered into the store. I was surprised to see no Yamori, so I immediately decided to buy it.
As I was paying at the cash register, I noticed the 2025/3 imprinted on the bottle and took it home with subtle regret, thinking, "It's been a long time..." It was fire-aged, but fresh.
It is fresh even though it is fire-aged. The aroma is beautiful, slightly apple-y, and delicious.

It's been a while since I've had Yamori, but this time I had the hi-ire Omachi 🍶 It has a deeper flavor than the raw version, with a fresh taste with a touch of petit gas.
