Kyushu Trip No. 10
Sake: I still like nigori type ✨.
Takizawa Shinshu KATATSUTSU Activated Junmai Nigori Nama Shu
Fresh and slightly effervescent!
As cloudy as doburoku, but light and not heavy 😊.
Dry and refreshing
Great sake as a food sake that doesn't spoil the taste of the ingredients!
I have not seen the statue of Masanari Kusunoki in the outer gardens of the Imperial Palace since the old days,
I have been fascinated by bronze statues of warriors, especially equestrian statues 🐎.
The equestrian statue of Yoshimitsu in Kasumijo Park, Yamagata Prefecture, is a masterpiece in my opinion 😚.
This time, since I came all the way to Kagoshima, I went to Ijuin station and saw the statue of Shimazu Yoshihiro in front of the station.
This statue is also rare in Japan.
A statue of a horseman standing on two legs 🐴.
A magnificent work of art with an overflowing sense of dynamism
A magnificent work of art.
I don't have much time.
I have to get up early in the morning to make time to see it
It was around 6am when I came to see it 😆😆😆😆.
We also visited the statue of Kiyomasa Kato on the approach to Kengan Shrine in Kumamoto City
Kumamoto Castle, a store in the Ninomaru parking lot.
There was a Kiyomasa Kato version of Sergeant Keroro 🤔❗🤭🤭🤭🤭.
Good morning, superbebe 😃.
Early morning to see the equestrian statues! You made full use of your time 🤗A reward from your dynamic work 🥹? Sergeant Keroro is adorable😄.
Hi Jay & Nobby!
I thought we were early.
There was already a traffic jam near Kagoshima IC around 6 or 7am😅😅😅😅.
Everyone was early 😱.
I feel like there are traffic jams every day at this time!
Today's sake is a limited edition, freshly brewed, limited edition sake from Takizawa's Shiboritate in Ueda, Nagano Prefecture: ❗️❗️
The aroma is slightly fruity and sweet❗️A sip reveals a mild texture on the tongue followed by a slightly sharp bitterness❗️A great sake for a mealtime drink⭕️
Junmai Ginjo🍶Kuro Label✨Hitogokochi🌾.
Nagano Ueda Railway Journey 🚃Day 3
The third cup of Kosuke is here.
Ginjo aroma strong and gorgeous ✨ sweet thin melon🍈 Dry sharpness when paired with horse meat. The horse sashimi is the top red meat 🐴The sweet soy sauce is not so good. The red meat itself is good. I'll have it with ginger soy sauce. The ume cucumber was surprisingly tasty and I had to have another 😅.

Nagano Ueda Railway Journey 🚃Day 3
Second cup of sake shop corner 😆.
Thick, a bit guttural 😳 Dry and strong. My wife says it's the Nagano sake😅

Takizawa Activated Junmai Nigori Nama
Mouthfeel:Slightly thick
Aroma: Almost none
Umami: Medium
Sourness: Moderate
I was worried because the information copy was fluffy and sounded like it was just to cheer people up... and it was! I was worried because it was so soft and fluffy... and it was rather true. It was rather right... It was not so unique for being nigori...
Takizawa Tokubetsu Junmai (warmed)
Mouthfeel: light
Aroma: Subdued
Taste: Spicy
Acidity: Strong
This was recommended to us because we wanted a heated sake with a sweet rice flavor, but not too sticky.
The main flavor is a rich sweetness from the rice, but the crisp acidity in the aftertaste is not unpleasant. It is good for everyday drinking.
That's interesting!
It was wrapped in newspaper.
There was an article titled "Former U.S. President Carter turns 100."
It makes me more knowledgeable about current events (laughs).
The sake was crisp and refreshing.
The aftertaste settles into a slightly dry impression, though,
Fresh, smooth, and full-bodied active junmai nigori sake.
It is reasonably priced and delicious.
Recipe by Katsuyo Kobayashi,
Fried chicken wings as the main dish.
Katsuyo Kobayashi is famous for her meat and potatoes,
This fried chicken wing is made with milk and lemon,
The recipe is different in that the seasoning is milk and lemon juice, but the sweet potato is also fried in the pan first, which makes it a good addition to the chicken.
That's what I'm talking about 😊.
Today's sake is an unfiltered raw Junmai Daiginjo from Takizawa in Ueda City, Nagano Prefecture❗️❗️
The aroma is sweet with a hint of ginjo❗️As you take a sip, you can feel the raw tingling sensation❗️Followed by a fruity taste and aroma that leaves your nose❗️Great Sake❤️
The brewery is famous for Ding, which is not available in the Kansai region.
I was at a Nagano sake event and Nemuchi said it was her favorite at Takizawa, so I bought some.
They had everything from Junmai to Jun Dai 😊.
It's gorgeous and has a honey-like sweetness, but a little powdery? It's sweet but has a unique sweetness to it.
It's sweet, but there is something unique about the sweetness.
The aroma on the nose is quite fruity.
I think I would like this if I had a fresh sake.
