It is like a sake from Nagano. Purchased at a sake brewery. In the center of Obuse. Located next to Sakurai Kanseido, a chestnut confectionery, and connected by a narrow road next to Sakurai's residence. They used to sell only a brand called (Hon)Yoshinogawa, but it was confused with Yoshinogawa from Niigata, so they started the Hokushin style.

It is a gorgeous, slightly sweet sake that is more refreshing than other sake. A little tangy. Hokushinryu Junmai Nama Sake Nama Sake Aged at 5°C for 3 years. It has a firm flavor, with a thick, rich umami and sweetness. It is a little bit complex. Hokushinryu Junmai Genjyu Aged for 5 years. It has a very rich umami, but it is easy to drink without an unpleasant aged feel. It is a solid type of sake. Overall 7 (out of 10) I purchased this product on 5/18 at Matsubaya 😃. It's a solid dry sake. Before you drink it, it smells like rice and seems to be gentle. But when you drink it, you will feel the sharpness and spiciness. It is not clear light and sharp. It has a slightly heavy spiciness and a lingering astringent aftertaste. Pekho-san who likes dry sake seemed to like it😅. I served it chilled. Overall 4 (out of 10) On 5/18, I had some business in the Shinshu Nakano area, so I stopped by Matsubaya's main store to buy some sake, and drank it in my hotel room for the evening. I felt the spiciness very strongly from the beginning to the aftertaste, I couldn't taste any other flavor elements. It might have been different if I drank it hot since it has a high alcohol content of 18 degrees. It was served chilled.
