On 5/18, I had some business in the Shinshu Nakano area, so I stopped by Matsubaya's main store to buy some sake, and drank it in my hotel room for the evening.
I felt the spiciness very strongly from the beginning to the aftertaste,
I couldn't taste any other flavor elements.
It might have been different if I drank it hot since it has a high alcohol content of 18 degrees.
It was served chilled.
The aroma I felt was

Sake that is not pure rice,
I was avoiding it because I thought it might have an alcoholic taste.
But I found that the moderate amount of alcohol content made it easier to drink and tasted great 😊.

Today, I had planned to go to a famous sake izakaya in Otsuka (famous for its sake "Jyushidai") in the rain, but the metropolitan bus was delayed for 15 minutes and did not show up, probably due to the rain. After cleaning up the white squid, shime saba (mackerel), and nikudofu with beer and highballs, I finally settled on a daiginjo from the Hokushin style. It was a very tasty sake with a good aroma, fruity sweetness, and a nice sharp aftertaste. Tomorrow morning, I will leave at 5:50 a.m. to play tennis, so I will return home in one gong, savoring the aftertaste of this Hokushin-ryu.
