Misuzu Shuzo, Shiojiri-shi, Nagano Misuzu Junmai Sake
Among the many famous local sakes in Nagano Prefecture, this is one of the most straightforward!
It is a good sake for real everyday drinking without any sweetness or harshness.
This kind of sake is the best after all!

Taste
The first sip is refreshing and easy to drink with a clear and fresh taste.
It is pleasant to drink with a clear taste.
As you continue drinking, the umami and sweetness of the rice, which is unique to Omachi, spreads over your tongue.
The sharp acidity invites you to take another sip.
We received the restaurant's recommendation.
It was my first time, but it is a delicious sake with an elegant acidity.
We were seated at the end of the table, so the picture was too far away to take a picture of the back label. Too bad.

This place seems to call itself "Misuzu" only for summer sake.
The aroma is mild, but it has a wide range of fruit aromas typical of unfiltered, unpasteurized sake. The taste is moderately balanced and voluminous, but it still has the "transparency" and "softness" typical of 55% polished rice x Miyamanishiki.

Misuzu only drinks occasionally.
Maybe it's the etiquettes, but I feel like it's hard to reach for.
But I like Omachi, and it's dry, so my hand naturally went for it!
And it's still delicious!
After a few days, it was even better!
I guess this is the real Omachi from Okayama, or maybe I just don't realize it, but most of the Omachi sake I've had so far has been made from rice grown in Okayama Prefecture.
I'm not sure.

Slightly refreshing
No sweetness and mildness, but a slight sourness, but the sweetness lingers in the aftertaste.
Very beautiful and tasty sake!
