Fukushima-kan Drink Comparison Set (1)
This is the first time I have had Juro-Man. It was a clear drink with no peculiarities. Delicious.
Gohyakumangoku/Yumenokou/Himenomochi
Polishing ratio 50%.
Beginner.
Peachy sweetness on the palate (not too fruity, not too sweet), settles down in the middle and finishes with bitterness and acidity.
Good as a food sake, either cold or warmed.
Personal preference: ★★★☆☆☆☆
first loo mang ✨
I know it's hard to tell in the picture.
The label looks pale purple and then you see it from a different angle after it hits your eye.
Hmm? The color changed?
If you look closely, the color changes with the angle, so I liked it and bought it!
When I put it in my mouth
It has a slightly dry taste, but it is clear and easy to drink.
It has a light aftertaste.
As the beer gets hotter and hotter
The spiciness is still there, but it becomes mellow and easy to drink.
I prefer this one because I like sweet taste.
I had it with simmered sea bream fish as a mealtime sake, and it was delicious.
NABE Hello!
Oh! I see that Minamiaizu is your hometown 🍶.
It was my first time to drink it, and I was so satisfied that I would like to have it again as a food sake ✨.
Good morning, Jay & Nobby ☀☀☀.
Yes, I know! There are some labels that attract me 💕That's exactly what happened this time 😆.
I'm curious about the taste of that marbled sake too, though lol!
It was delicious!
Shimofuri is a delicious looking lomang with a name like shimofuri! Polarized labels are beautiful too✨
The aroma is softly sweet rice. The aroma is of fluffy sweet rice, gorgeous but not clingy and mild.
When you drink it, it has a clear mouthfeel, sweet but not at all sticky, and flows smoothly.
It finishes with a soft bitterness.
Delicious! I thought it would be sweeter. I thought it would be sweeter, but it is so clean and refreshing that I can drink it without hesitation.
Try heating it up: ♨️
Sweet and soft aroma spreads, and the rice is warm and sweet!
I think I like it when it's lukewarm because you can taste the gentle umami.
It was a delicious sake that can be enjoyed at various temperatures 🍶.
Good evening, Kotaro 😃.
I've been thinking about red meat rather than marbled for about 10 years now 🤔Meat 🥩 😆.
Kottara looks refreshing and delicious 😋.
Good morning, Jay & Nobby ☀☀☀☀☀☀!
I know, if you're going to go for the meat guts, it's red meat 👍🥩This one was not the fatty kind, but refreshing and delicious 😆❄️
Fukushima Prefecture
Junmai Ginjo uraroman
Rice polishing ratio 55
Alcohol 15
Rice: Aizu rice
It has a firm sweetness and a rich flavor of rice.
It has a slightly bitter aftertaste with a strong alcohol taste.
It goes well with strongly seasoned snacks.
Okayama Marathon Souvenir No. 2
Read the label and you'll see that it's a sake made with a focus on Aizu.
That alone is enough to satisfy me.
Sake that is refreshing and easy to drink. Perfect as a food sake!
I heard it can also be served warmed up, so I'm looking forward to seeing how it will be when heated up next week!
It is fruity but has a dry aftertaste.
Good marriage with grilled yellowtail! The dryness was a hit. It would probably go well with dried fruits and cheese due to its initial fruitiness.
I went near my hometown and ended up buying the perennial staple. Slightly banana-like aroma.
From room temperature. There is a ripe sweetness mixed with a bit of banana or pineapple-like acidity, but the flavor expands a bit. The final taste is pungent and slightly bitter, with a nice sharpness.
Heated to 35°C on the second day. The sweetness with pineapple-like acidity in the mouth becomes stronger and more sharp. 40°C is not much different, but the sharpness is even stronger. Personally, I think 35°C is the best temperature.
On the third day, drink it cold. It can be drunk neatly, but the sweetness and sharpness are both slightly reduced, giving the impression of an ordinary light sake with umami flavor. It is not bad, but it is not the original image of the brand, so I personally do not think it is suitable for cold drinking.
It is more like an orthodox food sake than the sweetness typical of Romain, which is partly due to the fact that it is a standard fire-brewed sake. It has a good balance of umami and sharpness, and can be drunk with confidence.
