Purchased as a souvenir from Tochigi. I had had it before in a cup or something and was left with the impression that it was spicy and delicious, so I decided to try it this time and bought the raw type!
I found out later that it was a limited edition for convenience stores.
When I opened the bottle and poured it, the aroma had a calm green fruitiness, like pear or melon.
The mouthfeel has a freshness that is typical of nama-shu, but it is smooth and has a sweetness from the rice that seems to fit on the tongue.
From there, the spicy acidity slowly emerges and turns into a spicy-amami type of flavor. It is a delicious taste with a perfect balance of umami richness and spiciness, reminiscent of the cup sake we drank before!
Finally, the sharpness of the astringent taste comes and lingers, so it is a deliciously spicy and fruity taste somewhat reminiscent of "Bakuren"👍.
It is my favorite flavor and does not disappoint!
It's also perfect for a mid-meal reset ✨
Hi Jay & Nobby!
Maybe it's a limited edition that is only available at 711! I think it would be interesting to visit 711 since there was a similar limited edition in the neighboring Gunma Prefecture 👍.
Jay & Nobby.
Thank you very much! I asked for a picture of them and they were very kind to take it! Tochigi, you can see Ujikkou as much as you can see Mickey from Disney 😁.
New sake every year from Amataka.
This year is spicier than last year! The aroma is also stronger than last year.
The umami of rice is less than last year. It has more acidity and bitterness. However, it is drunk cold.
