The aroma is mild. Fruity and refreshing at room temperature, milky sweetness and a hint of acidity when chilled. There is no harshness. Very tasty!

Full-bodied rice, yogurt-like aroma. The mouthfeel is clean with rice sweetness and acidity. It has a nice clean finish and does not linger, so meals go well with it. To put it worse, it is a little watery, but to be honest, it is very good! P.S. When heated hot, the aroma is like freshly cooked rice and rice cakes. The sweetness of the rice stands out and it is surprisingly delicious!

This is the first sake of 2022. This is Kamikawa, a sake sold only in Kamikawa-cho, the home of Kamikawa Taisetsu. I bought it at Seven Eleven on the way back to my parents' house. I put it in the snow mountain until just before I drank it, so I had it in a very cold state. I was expecting it to be rough because it was freshly squeezed, but it had just the right amount of freshness. I think I'll stop by again on the way home and buy some more.

Daisetsu Sake Brewery is a recent hot topic in Hokkaido. Kamikawa's Kamikawa! They have a strong love for their hometown and locally you can buy it at a convenience store for 1200 yen, but if you try to buy it in Kanto you won't find it. I've heard rumors about it, but this was my first chance to try it. The taste is refreshing, contrary to my expectations! You can feel the coldness of Hokkaido. The fruit aroma is a bit peachy, but the flavor is light and dry, reminding me of the tequila with lime I drank when I was younger. I enjoyed it with fried horse mackerel as a side dish, but I would have preferred a white meat without more fat. Like sea bream or saki? It's not good enough for salmon or hockey, which are popular in Hokkaido.
