This local sake is handled only in the Kamikawa area. This junmai daiginjo-shu combines a noble and gorgeous aroma with a well-balanced and elegant flavor, yet has a firm, mineral taste.
I bought it when I went to Sounkyo Onsen, it was a bit expensive 😢It has a gorgeous aroma, sweet and sour condensed with a bit of bitterness afterwards, it was delicious💕.

Kamikawa" Junmai was selected as one of the "Northern High Grade Foods 2021", a certification system initiated by Hokkaido.
The "High Grade Foods of the North" are selected by Hokkaido's "Food Supporters," a group of leading experts in the field of "food," including top chefs such as Hiroki Asano of Shokusai Soken and Masayuki Okuda of Al Quecciano, and charismatic buyers such as Daisuke Honda of Daimaru Matsuzakaya Department Store, to select top runners of Hokkaido-produced foods. This is a program initiated by Hokkaido since FY2010, which aims to further enhance the appeal of Hokkaido's food products as a whole by expanding sales channels for them and communicating the producers' commitment to food ingredients and production methods. Full-bodied rice, yogurt-like aroma. The mouthfeel is clean with rice sweetness and acidity. It has a nice clean finish and does not linger, so meals go well with it. To put it worse, it is a little watery, but to be honest, it is very good!
P.S. When heated hot, the aroma is like freshly cooked rice and rice cakes. The sweetness of the rice stands out and it is surprisingly delicious!
