A bottle at a sake meeting
Three stores in Hiroshima? They say it's only sold at
It is made from Kure Mikimai (Kure Miki Rice) and is said to be made from Kure
I drank it with high expectations since they use Hachitan-Nishiki, my personal favorite sake rice, and found it to have a very good balance of sweetness and acidity!
This goes well with food sake, or just sake!
I would definitely like to repeat this bottle!
3.8/5
It's a kijoshu, a nama-shu, and a nigori-shu... too many attributes, don't you think?
It's a kijo-zake, but it's also a raw sake, so it's a bit too much. The acidity and the sourness are assertive, and it is very much a kijo-zake! It is not so much sweet as it is kijo-zake.
It gives the impression of a sweet, thick doburoku rather than a kijoshu, which may not be what you expect from a kijoshu! It may not be what you expect from a kijoshu.
Of course, it is delicious!
A glass at room temperature.
Ondo-cho, on the other side of Kure City. A relaxing country town lined with dykes where you can catch a lot of fish.
The gentle taste reminds us of such scenery.
The aftertaste is rich in acidity and the flavor is robust.
It is not a sake that one would expect to have a ginjo aroma.
I thought it was a sake to enjoy the depth of flavor, not the flamboyance.
I love sake.
Sake meter value +1, acidity 1.6
Kumamoto yeast, Hiroshima Reiwa No.1
I drank it for the first time.
Liquor made with liquor!
It tastes like Shaoxing wine.
The label also recommended it on the rocks.
It kind of looks like it would be good to drink with Chinese food.
Kijo-shu is the most famous sake of Hana-Hato.
It is a blend of aged kijoshu, which is too much information even before you drink it.
It is a sweet sake with a strong dried fruit flavor (most kijo-zake is like this).
It would probably be good with blue cheese.
This is the first time I drank kijoshu.
Here are my personal impressions.
It feels like sake, but tastes like a sweet wine with a whiskey-like aftertaste.
The aftertaste is mild and gentle.
Delicious.

I thought it would have a more matured taste, but it was surprisingly fruity✨.
It also has a refreshing feeling, and is quite good as a food sake ^ ^ ^.
Easy to drink, affordable, no bitterness or bitterness, excellent. ☺️
