The last stop on our Shinshu-Hokuriku washbasin tour was Gorin by Kurumata Sake Brewery, famous for Tengumai.
Gorin by Kurumada Shuzo, which is famous for Tengumai.
(I have had Tengumai a long time ago...).
(I made a mistake! I drank it in January!)
The concept of this sake seems to be "dignified" and "never get tired of drinking.
When you have it with the sashimi, the speed of eating the sashimi
the speed of eating the sashimi increases!
It was a great sake, the sweetness of the fat of the fish
The sweetness and umami of the fat of the fish is up. ⤴️
This is another great food sake 👍

Aftertaste: clean, gentle sweetness
Impression Fruity, medium dry
Refreshing aroma of green apples and other fresh aromas that can be recognized even in the boar's mouth. The acidity is beautiful, and combined with the gentle sweetness, it gives a fruity impression. It is not too sweet and well-balanced, so it can be easily enjoyed on its own.
Repeat Score 2.5
The cherry blossoms are in full bloom, but it is so cold that it feels like winter again, so tonight we decided to have hot pot for the first time in a while.
I served it with Gorin junmai sake, another brand of Kurumata Shuzo, famous for Tengumai.
Unlike Tengumai's robust image, Gorin is light, refreshing, and easy to drink, but has a solid core of sweetness and richness. The finish is just the right amount of dryness, making it a high quality sake that will complement your meal without boring you to death.
Hi kiko 😃
Really! It's snowing here 😳I hope it calms down soon 😌.
But if there are nabe🍲 and sake🍶 there, that's a different story 🤗I've never had Gorin, but it looks like a high level!
