I imagined it would be citrus 🍊sweet and bitter, but surprisingly, it is not sour and has a delicious flavor.

I picked up this rare label of Kenkunichi, which I have never seen before.
It has a firm, umami taste of rice and a nice crispness while still being moist.
It is a good sake that is more dry, but you can feel the careful work that has gone into polishing it up nicely 🙇.
It was a good bottle of sake that conveyed the Kenkunichi character 😊.

Since I went back to Miyagi, I recommend dry.

However, my friend who likes dry taste said she preferred Yamawa's "Karatto" to this one! I like this one better because it has a lingering aftertaste.
