Kenkunichi", named to be the best sake in the world, is now being sold (at Sportsland SUGO in Murata-machi, Miyagi Prefecture) under a cute SUGO label. My sister sent this to me.
This sake is refreshing and goes well with sweet food! So I had it with "Ika Yokan" (squid jelly) which I got as a gift from Hakodate.
Arrived from a certain hanpukai along with some Shine Muscat. I googled the specs and found that it smells like 4mmp, so it's a pairing with grapes.
The most recent 4mmp I experienced was Makiki, Niida Zenshu Meron, and KURAMOTO SE.
Clear lactic acid and 4mmp aroma. Medium-bodied, with a smooth, understated sweetness, and a hint of grapes in the nose as it quickly slips away without a lingering aftertaste. Refreshing, refreshing, and delicious.
