100% "Kame-no-o" is used.
The top clear liquid is quite dry and spreads in the mouth with a sharp taste.
It has a crisp taste.
Goes well with meals.
It goes well with the sweetness of geso sashimi and pumpkin.
The taste mellows out when the cucumber is mixed with the sake.
The punch becomes weaker.
The sweet and sour taste is added and the dry taste is replaced by a sharp aftertaste while the robustness remains.
If you want to drink sake alone, this is the way to go.
Date of production: February 2024
Release date: February 23, 2024
Dewazakura Dodadazu is a sake-based fruit liqueur🍶.
Made with Yamagata-grown La France, peaches, grapes, apples, and cherries, the fruit juice is over 90% ✨.
The alcohol content is light at 8 degrees and the ingredients include sake, brewing alcohol, sugar and fruit puree 🍑🍏🍇.
My son (an adult) is still getting used to sake, so this is just the perfect bottle to get him used to it 😊.
As it is, it's like a thick juice mixed with brown sugar and plums 🍹.
But if you mix it with soda water, it becomes refreshing and you can drink it in gulps✨.
Fruity and sweet, it is recommended for sake beginners and those who like sweet sake👍
It is said to be the culmination of Yamagata sake rice,
The rice is polished to a 48% ratio.
Fresh and fruity ginjo aroma,
The clear and refreshing sweetness.
I've been drinking Yamagata sake a lot, but this is surprisingly my first check-in with Sake-no-wa: sake brewed by Dewazakura Sake Brewery as a commemorative sake for the birth of Dewa Tsannin, a rice suitable for sake brewing developed in Yamagata in 1995.
Not only the sake rice, but also the koji mold and yeast are Yamagata originals. While the initial aroma is mild, the flavor and fragrance are sweet and green apple-like. It has a crisp and refreshing aftertaste.
Hi, Jyunichi-san 😃.
We also had our first Izuhazakura 🌸 the other day 😋I thought there were a lot of Tochigi sake when I saw your sake record, but I see you like Sengoku too 🤗There are many other delicious Tochigi sake, so please try some 👋.
Thanks for your comment, Jay & Nobby! You drank Dewazakura 😃Senkou is one of my favorite breweries. I'm also interested in Houou Mita, but haven't had a chance to try it. Please keep me posted on your recommendations.
This is my first Dewazakura, Sakurabana Ginjo-shu, raw sake. Perhaps the first honjozo type ginjo-shu.
Founded in 1892, this sake is made by the Dewazakura Sake Brewery in Tendo, Yamagata Prefecture. Sakurabana Ginjo-shu is considered a pioneer of ginjo-shu.
The aroma is subdued, with green apple, herbal, and a hint of melon or melon-like watery aroma. The taste was sweet first, followed by a refreshing acidity of the honjozo type, with a moderate umami and bitterness. It was very easy to drink on its own, and was delicious with any food. I would like to drink it again.
Good evening, Mr. Shintaro 😃.
Oh! This is Dewazakura🌸! We also got it at Yodogawa-san and put it up yesterday 🤗I think we might be getting it right somewhere 😆.
Good evening, Jay & Nobby! Yes, I know, me too oh! I was thinking the same thing! I was thinking the same thing!
I read your profile, and I see that you have a Tochigi citizens' association, and I am very interested in hearing about it 😊.
Hello 😃😃
We have a LINE group for Tochigi residents who are doing "Sake no Wa" and we have off-line meetings once in a while 🤗.
Please take a look at the Kuhyo Masamune that I posted in July!
Good evening, Jay & Nobby! I saw your post about the offline meeting, it looks like a lot of fun 😆 My wife and I are beginners who recently started drinking sake, but we don't have many sake lovers, so we would love to have a drink while listening to the stories of our seniors!
When I went to buy the first bottle of Nanamizu, which was not sparkling, I decided to buy at least two more bottles! When I went to buy the first non-sparkling bottle of Nanamizu, I was looking at the fridge and was curious about the label that gave the impression of THE sake, so I took him here: ‼️
This is the first in the "Let's try something you've never had before" series! This is Dewazakura, the first in the "Let's try a sake we've never had before series!
I'll make love to you!
The aroma is sweet and fruity 😌.
I thought it would be a dry sake, but it is quite sweet 😙There is some acidity, but "gorgeous" is the next best word for this one after J&N! It's like a gorgeous but light food wine 😙.
By the way, we watched the Edogawa fireworks display the weekend before last from the parking lot of my father's apartment building, and it was a bit disappointing because the wind direction was bad that day and the smoke came first and stayed there for a long time, hiding the fireworks 😓.
And in the second half of the day, paper shavings and dust from the fireworks were falling down 😳When I looked at my car the next morning, there was quite a lot of trash 🙁 🙁 But the sound and atmosphere of the fireworks was great and everyone enjoyed the fireworks.
But we all enjoyed the sound and atmosphere of the fireworks while drinking beer 🍻 and my father sat in his wheelchair and watched for about an hour until the end😇.
Then the next morning my dad woke up with a cheerful "Gummoni~ng 👋" and my sister asked him "How were the fireworks last night?" I asked him.
He said, "You had fireworks 🙄 where?"
Yes! I was on a roll from the morning 🤣.
Hi Jay & Nobby 😃
Oh really 😆 THE sake...it gets dirty like volcanic ash when it's close to where the fireworks are launched 😳Your father's cheerful and energetic attitude blew away the rainy blues👍.
Hi Jay & Nobby 😃Dewa cherry blossoms are gorgeous as the name suggests ☺️ I haven't had them yet 🌸The wind direction was unfortunate for the fireworks show too, but you can enjoy the sound and realism alone 🎆Your father is still nice👍 and makes me smile 😆.
Jay & Nobby 🎆Hello 🎆‼️ a fun summer tradition👍Glad to hear your dad is doing well🩷.
Dewazakura, it's a hardy label ✨Good to see the gap between glamorous and looks good‼️Continue to have a good summer vacation 🥰🙌I hope the mainland will be clear and sunny too☀️
Hi Jay & Nobby!
It was a good summer night with your family watching fireworks 🎆With beer🍺🎵.
Glad your father enjoyed it too🤗.
Dewazakura, that's a very impressive label 😲.
Hi Jay & Nobby😃Thank you for calling on such short notice the other day💦.
Dewazakura, one of my sake recommendations! I hope you will drink it again in winter 😆👍 because it's a sake that will make your table more colorful, like a winter nabe.
Jay & Nobby, good evening 🌛This is a hardy one that I wouldn't go near even if I saw it 😅and yet it's so sweet and gorgeous, it's a gap moe 🥰I'm energized by the fireworks, filial piety and your father's gummonin✨.
Good evening, Jay & Nobby! Dewazakura Ginjo-shu😄I actually bought this sake to prepare for my sake exam and drank it often! The aroma is gorgeous and it's easy to mistake it for junmai ginjo for a moment... the chirpiness in the mouth is typical of ginjo sake!
Good morning, Jay & Nobby 😃.
Dewazakura's Ginjo-shu! You did a great job in making the concept of "Ginjo-shu" and its existence known in Japan!
I've been wanting to try it myself but haven't yet 😌 I'd love to experience the poetic sake harmony 🍶.
Good morning, Jay & Nobby 😃.
Dewazakura-san drank it for the first time in a while the other day and I don't remember it tasting this good? I thought 🙄. I think I need to drink it again 😁.
We all watched fireworks in the parking lot 🎇, it's a fun time 😄.
Hi ichiro18 😃.
This was my first time in 3 years and I was really talking about the volcanic ash falling 😳🥲.
I was amused that you completely forgot about the fireworks 🎇 the night before 😆.
Hi Hina Hana Mama 😃.
Yes, I am so glad you enjoyed it 😋! It was as gorgeous as the letters on the label 😋Yes 🎇 that sound fits the summer night and is unforgettable 😌.
Except for the father 🤣.
Hi Wakata 😃.
No, no, it was a pleasure to meet you 🤗but I couldn't even say anything funny in my face😅.
Dewazakura🍶 certainly looks good for winter dining 😋.
Hi Aladdin 😃
I googled it! We are ignorant 😅I bought it without knowing it, but it's a meritorious wine with a long history 🍶🥹.
Poetic Sake Harmony 🤗 I hope Aladdin will review it for us 🤗.
Hi Hiro 😃
Please come back and review the drink!
The parking lot is 🎇gooo 👌 that you can move on to the after party in a cool room right after you finish watching!
Mr. Jay & Mrs. Nobby
Good evening.
Fireworks shows are a problem whether it's windy or not💦when there's no wind, the fireworks are obscured by smoke...😅The label is old-fashioned, but the letters are charming and intoxicating👍I like the name "Sakurabana" 🐎.
