Purchased at Kaneda-ya near Urasa Station when visiting for business.
It has a strong umami taste with a hint of acidity.
A slight astringency lingers in the mouth as a pleasant aftertaste.
I was regretting why I did not use a larger bottle, but I went home with high hopes for the rest of the sake that I had carefully stored in my bag (to be continued).
Midorikawa Masamune, Niigata Prefecture

Alcohol content 15.5
Polishing ratio 65
Nearly colorless crystal with a sense of transparency.
The first impression of the aroma is gentle
Glutinous rice, alcohol, lime
First impression of the taste is rather strong
Mild sweetness, gentle acidity, mild bitterness
The balance between roundness and sharpness is easy to discern.
The aftertaste is short.
Classical impression, but not too harsh and easy to drink.
I like it warmed up.
I'd like to drink it with seared Japanese common squid with mayo and soy sauce.
