Daiginjo made from 35% polished Tojo-produced Yamadanishiki rice
Named after the collection of good quality sake in the auspicious No. 88 tank.
It is said to be the third sweetest sake in the Kuroryu lineup after Kijoshu and Honjozo Dorokuchi.
The nose has a fruity aroma of fresh green grass, herbs, and green apples.
The taste has a sweetness and umami that is easy to recognize in Kuroryu, with a slight mineral astringency and bitterness that gives it a deep flavor.
It is very drinkable and delicious!
The acidity increases in the latter half of the bottle, giving it a nice sharpness.
It has a relatively strong flavor among Kuroryu, and I personally find it easy to drink with a variety of foods.
Gohyakumangoku Polishing ratio 55
Lightly cloudy with a mild aroma. The smooth taste on the palate tends to make it easy to drink, but it has a strong aftertaste with a surprisingly high alcohol content of 17%. Umayumayu!
No photo because I received one cup of sake to share with others.
The aroma is unlike any sake I've ever had!
Smoothness and sweetness are amazing!
Thank you for this very rare sake!
