Junmai Ginjo
It complements a meal as is typical of Kuroryu. Good sharpness. The aroma does not interfere with the meal. It is a sake that washes off your tongue quickly.
This time, it was served at a camping trip.
Kuroryu is best served with Japanese food and sashimi.
I feel I made the wrong choice, so I did not give it a score this time.
-/5
The aroma is more gorgeous than I had imagined. The taste is not too sweet, and it goes well with Japanese food, as one would expect from Kuroryu. It is well-balanced and easy to drink.
I visited a liquor store recommended by a senior colleague at work. I managed to park my one-box car in the narrow parking lot surrounded by a block wall.
We entered the store with our shoulders shaking to see what was in store for us. First, I checked the refrigerator in the back. I checked the main refrigerator in the front. There are a lot of different labels for the brands I usually see. There was one bottle of Yokoyama and Omine, but it was tucked away near the end of the fridge. I was thinking to myself, "That's a sake that has the ability to be a main eventer. I wanted to buy a bottle of Hayashi, but gave it up because there was no room in my refrigerator. After much deliberation, I decided on the Koryu. I self-excused myself by saying that I had not gone there to place it on the safe side. The clerk was able to sense my love for sake and let me smell the expensive sake. I was happy.
I was told that they had changed the taste of Koryu this year and that it was juicy and did not taste like Koryu. When I got home, I opened the bottle. The flavor of Kuroryu comes first, which is a relief. After that comes the gorgeous and slightly sticky sensation. It is true that Kuroryu was a sake for when you wanted to drink it lightly, so I thought this was a change in direction. I had the impression that the taste was such that I was not sure which one to choose with Houou Mita. It seems they have let go of their established positioning.
It's been a long time since I've posted since I've been slammed with job hunting ✨
This time I was brought to Gotanda by Waniya to celebrate my job offer and we had a glass of Ishida-ya 🤩🤩🤩.
It was a little more concentrated than the one I had last year, and I really enjoyed it with the added sharpness that is typical of Kuroryu 😋.
I will work hard next year so that I can drink it with my own money 💪💪💪.
Green banana, melon.
Deliciously sweet aroma.
Slightly thickened entrance. The main flavor is bitterness, with sweetness and acidity at the end.
The alcohol level is just barely above the level of the nose.
The finish is a little dry but has a rich aftertaste.
Kuroryu is always too satisfying!
A new product brewed by a new employee from ESHIKOTO, a Fukui limited edition sake from the Kuroryu Sake Brewery!
Unusually yellowish-green in color for a Kuroryu. Medium or full-bodied.
Specs are a mystery? But it's impressive, with a fresh aroma reminiscent of ramune and a smooth throat! The ginjo structure is solid.
Fruity acidity in the middle bone, with a moderate sweetness.
Carefully crafted and juicy with good umami!
The planning was also a new employee's idea, and the label is cute! It's not a flirtatious sake, but it's already a dignified and delicious sake.
I think it might be more on the classic side of Kuroryu (not that it's badly made or anything, but there are aspects that remind me of good old-fashioned sake).
