I opened a bottle of Kameizumi because we were talking about Kochi at work.
There happened to be a pineapple next to it, so we compared the flavors.
It is indeed pineapple flavor, but it is not the same. Either way, it is delicious.
Kameizumi Shuzo, a sake brewery in Tosa City, Kochi, uses CEL-24 yeast. Fruity! Pineapple aroma spreads softly. It is sweet and sour, but the aftertaste is much more subdued. A beautiful junmai ginjo with a polished rice ratio of 50%. I would like to drink it with snacks as if it were a white wine. A sake that goes well with spring weather.
