This Sake is bright and juicy. The mouth feel is medium and smooth. The flavor similar to white wine. There is a very short burst of sweet pear flavor and a very clean finish. Different and interesting.

A clear wine from France The color, aroma, and mouthfeel are nothing but white wine. If you were told it was a white wine and served it, you wouldn't even notice it. It is mysterious.

I bought it at the WAKAZE booth, which was open at Dessert Festival. They were having a tasting, so I had a few sips. The Classic was easier to drink than the FONIA series, but out of curiosity, I bought the SORRA, which is one of the easier drinking FONIAs. This sake has a botanical feel with yuzu, lemon, and sansho. Drinking it straight, it has a unique aroma and flavor like an old sake and the freshness of citrus fruits. Smoky cheese went well with it. It can be enjoyed on its own, but it is very good on the rocks or with soda to make it lighter and easier to drink. Delicious!

Sake made from French rice! The manager recommended something that was not on the izakaya menu, and I drank it thinking it would never taste good, but it was like a cross between the best parts of wine and sake! Easy to drink and smells like wine. Thank you very much for this rare sake.
