It's like a white wine without much astringency.
It's light and doesn't leave much of a lingering aftertaste.
It seems to be lacking something.
It would be good with cheese.
At room temperature, the alcohol feeling comes late, with a wet feeling lingering on the palate. At first, there is a slight sweetness from the rice, which is typical of sake. The label says it is best served with food. On its own, I feel the alcohol feeling chokes my throat a little.
The aroma is very nice.
Very drinkable and sweet. It has a yogurt-like aroma and a bit of fruitiness like muscat. It would be good with salty, rich food.
The label design is very international. Rugged font and big letters.
Plum fruitiness. Very sweet and textured. Not too sweet because it is not persistent. Not much acidity. Easy to drink and women seem to like it.
The alcohol content is low at 10%, so 1:1 with soda is good. On its own, I would prefer it straight. I don't pair plum wine very often, but I'd pair it with soda with food.
Kido Junmai Ginjo
Fruity, pineapple-like acidity and aroma. It is crisp and refreshing. Pleasant sweetness. No alcoholic smell of sake. No bad drunkenness.
