I bought reading glasses at DAISO. Now with chikumo Exchange goods 😆 Thank you for everything 😄 It's a bright yellow color and feels like it's made in a wooden vat 😆. It's not intimidated by greasy food. The taste is very robust ✨👍 The lack of cloying taste is already great! It was a delicious bottle!

This is a record of a sake tavern I stopped by when I was in Shibuya on a business trip. There was Wakakoma, which I had been interested in for a while, so we compared drinks by specifying the brand name. Wakakoma was a beautiful sake. It was comfortable to finish it easily without any sticking point. Kanemaru had a black and white label, which I preferred. The rice flavor was strong and distinct. Delicious! The red and white label had a strong smoky aroma, perhaps a wooden vat feeling, and it was hard to taste it as a sake. Next was Eiko Fuji no Hoshimatsuri. I saw it in the basement of Shibuya Tokyu, but did not buy it because of its high price. I drank one pot of it deliciously and appreciated it as I should have. The white malted rice of Sanzen Sakura was the best discovery of the day. The acidity comes first, but the umami comes soon after. It is really delicious. I think it is one of my favorite sake with acidity attack. I want to drink it again. The last sake is from Kuwana City, Mie Prefecture. This sake is refreshing, but a little bit rich, and quite delicious. The sake sommelier's recommendations offer new discoveries. It was a good way to spend a Friday night.

Tochigi sake featured in Hankyu Department Store's Traveling SAKE. Kanetamaru is another brand of Wakakoma. I have not seen it for sale, but they said they shipped it to Sugimoto Shoten. It is also listed on Noboru Sake Shop's website. Kanetamaru 80, brewed in wooden vats, squeezed with a drop of water, unfiltered and unpasteurized. Kioko-Oke Brewing Kanetamaru 80 Tank Shibori Unfiltered Nama Sake Tasted these two types. I preferred the shizuku-brewed one, which was slightly cloudy. The tank pressing seemed to have a strong wooden vat taste, which I don't like. The label can be peeled off and used as a coaster.

I wanted everyone to drink it, so I brought another bottle. Junmai Daiginjo made in wooden vats. A higher grade of Wakakoma. The blue label was good, but we couldn't get it... The rice used for the white label is "Tochigi no Hoshi". I was a little apprehensive because I had never had it before, but... It smelled of wooden vat and had acidity. It changed as the temperature went up and was well received.

Oyama City, Tochigi Prefecture, the same city as Houou Mita. I drank it for the first time, Wakakoma Shuzo! It is different from Houou Mita. Is it because the rice polishing ratio is as high as 80%? I thought sake was made in the Tohoku region (not Niigata?), but today I think it is made in Tochigi Prefecture. February is here 😆. Work is still busy, but I'll be drinking a lot of good sake 😋. Today I'm going to talk about another brand of Wakakoma that I bought last March at Mashidaya in Tochigi 😆. Looking at the back label, it's more than a year old😅. The aroma is a clear muscat? 🤔 It has a slight sweetness to it 😆. The taste is very clean and refreshing, just like Gohyakumangoku. Grapefruit-like citrus acidity and sweetness 😋. While the rice is low polished, the flavor of the rice seems to be less 🤔. The acidity makes it very, very crisp and The aftertaste is pleasant🎶. I was home around the time the date struck. I fell asleep in the middle of typing🤣.

At Tsukii-san I'm feeling better now, so I finally opened the bottle! This time it's a red label Gohyakumangoku. When it's cold and snowy, it has a citrusy aroma. Ethyl Caproate is exploding. When the temperature rises, it becomes mellow (^^) and the smell of the wooden vat also appears. You can enjoy the smell for a while. The rice polishing ratio is 80⁉️. The mouthfeel is refreshing but stimulating. When it's cold, you can see a little sweetness, but the sourness soon follows and kills the sweetness and turns into bitterness. When the temperature rises, the bitterness precedes...the bitterness is strong all the time. Is it not able to handle the miscellaneous taste of low rice polishing well? Tobiraizumi which we are comparing is better balanced. It is totally different from the orthodox Ao-label. I recommend the blue label for first time drinkers. So this was a challenge sake. It is sharp because it was made on the day, so expect it to age well.

While visiting Tochigi, we visited a sake brewery. We visited Wakakoma-san, which was used as a filming location for the drama JIN. The sake is made in a wooden vat, shizuku-dori, tailing and unfiltered, and has many features that I have never had before. It is a daiginjo with lactic acid bacteria and a sweet taste. When I put it in the chirori, it was so fizzy that it was full of bubbles. The toji-san told me that the label was made of cloth and could be used as a coaster, so I had to remove it before taking a picture, which was a big mistake. ★★★★☆+

I can feel that Mr. Wakakoma is serious😄. The shwatte feeling comes and the sharpness that is typical of Gohyakumangoku and the outstanding aftertaste is amazing ^_^✌🏻. The label can be used on a coaster if you peel it off well❗️. It seems to be okane tamaru when you drink this✨.

Second purchase at Wakakoma Sake Brewery ‼️ Kanetamaru is the name of the shop. The drink was just under $3,000, but if you've come this far I guess the only option is to "buy" it~^_^ I'm a driver, so I wasn't able to sample it. Just the smell... Of course, the aroma of the wood vats and the ginjo aroma will motivate you to buy it Oh no, I can't wait to drink it (°°) Holy shit, I'm going to compare drinks when I'm nearing the end of my Omachi 90.
