Room temp The straw like color hints at the dry traditional flavor with pink chocolate flavors and a hint to cashew. Nice acidity, long flavor profile. Cuts through the broth of garlic ramen just fine. Looking forward to trying it chilled. It is really nice. 80/100

Chilled This is a wood bomb. In a good way. The slightly rough texture fits the strong cedar blast. The alcohol burns off your tongue quickly leaving it papery. One could imagine licking a piece of cedar lumber almost. After you recover from the wood, there is a blank mid period but some pear notes emerge on the finish. Will try my next warmed. I suspect this might be best at room temp actually.

Chilled Strong banana flavors on the nose and initial taste. Creamy texture that feels like an unfiltered gives way to roughness on the tongue. Nice acidity. Not my favorite sake, a weird mix of crisp flavors and strange mouthfeel, but not terrible either. 70/100

Chilled. Bodaimoto sake so very acidic with lots of banana esters. Slightly carbonated rough tongue vibe and long sweet candy finish . Maybe not my favorite style of sake but still very interesting. Will try slightly warmer tomorrow. Unrated since I don’t know this style well enough.

Chilled and warmed Well it is starting a little bit to feel like fall which means tarusake season for me. This is a very nicely integrated tarusake with a strong bright cedar and cherry nose, vanilla and wooden flavors interplay nicely and then a relatively clean finish. I prefer warmed in this case slightly… 72/100 above average

Chilled Cedar wood undertones almost like a Tarusake that adds a bit of apple caramel. Very drinkable with a bit of dryness that cuts through the initial lush mouth feel. 80/100 excellent.

Chilled Initially sweet with cherry and rose honey flavors that give way to a bit of dryness immediately that draws out more of the rose petal flavor. Cuts right through food but is not harsh at all. 90/100. Excellent.

Chilled Wow. This is like congee in texture. Unfiltered is putting it lightly. That being said yeast aromas from the active cultures and an almost yakult citrusy vibe with strong cinnamon horchata vibes. Amazing and weird. 85/100

Chilled Intense nose of strawberry with a hint of oxidized flavors. Flavor adds in pear and vanilla notes with a dry finish. Perhaps a bit too much going on to truly integrate. But if you want something bold, this is it. 71/100. Good but not great.

Chilled Initial taste is a blast of cantaloupe which fades quickly. Astringent and roughness on the tongue follows immediately. Almost enough to feel carbonated. Finish is pretty much the same with some mild vegetal notes which lingers. Not my favorite but not bad. 65/100 - average.

Room temperature. Very smooth mouthfeel at first with a bit of roughness at the back of the throat. Elegant initial rice flavors that give way to a peach-cantaloupe blend. Finish is perhaps a bit mild and short. Excellent. 90/100
