The store said it was "slightly dry," but is it gorgeous, more mellow? I love it. It can be served from mid-meal to after-meal, so I think I will drink too much.
Is it a little bit more "mundane" than Miyamanishiki? It has a pleasant sweetness and a sharp taste, but it is still Hana-yoso. The pleasant sweetness and sharpness of Hana-yoso is still the best.
This year, I think Miyamanishiki > Gohyakumangoku > Hachikan Nishiki (my personal opinion). I may just be a Miyamanishiki lover myself, so please don't be offended.
Cloudy and slightly effervescent. Sweetness and fruitiness. Far from the image of Niigata sake?
Today we paired it with nabe (hot pot), but it seems to go well with Western food. It was delicious. I would like to try Junmai Daiginjo.
Compare with Normal. Although it has the youthfulness of arabashiri, it is also slightly sweet and gentle, making it perfect as a mealtime sake for every dinner.
Compared with Miyamanishiki Junmai Ginjo from Hanahayo. It is more powerful than Miyamanishiki. In a good way, it may be far from the so-called "Hana-yosuyu-like" taste.
Slightly effervescent, pineapple! You may or may not like this sweetness, and you may or may not get bored with it. I love it. I think Miyamanishiki will be my personal best for this year's Hanayo.
